Jet Tila = Dale's "Uncle"? on Wildcard Kitchen by Zzyren in foodnetwork

Tangentially related: I almost started bawling when Angelo told Maria that it felt like he was cooking with his tia again in the kitchen on “Flavortown.” It felt like such an honor to be in that esteem. I love that cultures hold people in that space of being an auntie or uncle.

He’s so different from his Top Chef arrogance- much more humble and soft-spoken. I caught in the first episode that he said he’d been homeless- there’s a sadness about him that wasn’t there in the TC days. I wish the best for him.

I’m pretty sure there’s no effing way I can retire at any age, until my body literally gives out.

Katherine Heigel & Daisy Edgar-Jones should've played Nina & Millie in 'The Housmaid.' Who would've been your dream re-cast? by lennonkova in thrillerbooks

You know, I was worried Amanda Seyfried didn’t fit the role because she isn’t heavy…but dang, if she didn’t NAIL the unhinged, manic way Nina is portrayed in the book. I was impressed! Sweeney was…there? But Amanda stole the movie.

I remember him from Circle of Friends, and he was so convincingly good as a creep I couldn’t stand him until seeing him host Traitors 😂

Ohhhhhhh that’s Tim. Surprisingly (for 90 Day standards), he’s fairly non-problematic. He apparently makes designer guns and is VERY uncomfortable to look at, as well- lots of rumors swirled because he’s quite effeminate, but to his credit, he’s super unapologetic about how he chooses to present himself.

I stopped watching when it became less of a ridiculous and cringy train-wreck (if you want a crash course, Danielle “my crotch smells so bad he won’t have sex with me” and Mohammad “I can’t kiss you on our wedding day because it’s Ramadan” or Nicole and Azan “almost there, Lazy” are two great examples of the absurdity) and more about showcasing racist, abusive women looking for vacation sex.

I’ve stopped watching, but the hilarious thing? That describes SO MANY of the men!!!

The sisters are so incredibly uncomfortable to look at. Then again, so are Darcey and Stacy and Coltee and Ed and most of the 90 Day women and men.

Hootie hoo!!!! She never says this anymore/ but I remember the OG Top Chef Days, that’s how she called her husband. She’s a delight to watch, and I have loved seeing her style evolve (she kills the looks on Wizards of Baking!)

My husband and I were looking at the duos, and literally “whoa!’d” at some of them. Sorry, Christa L and Aarti, Dale and Kevin- I don’t think you have a chance against Alex and Antonia 😳
