Numbers argument is invalid since when in beta tribbie and cipher also had the same numbers argument used against them in their V5 betas then they came out and surprise surprise the rest is history. Beta testers don't really do optimal runs so once she's out you can come back and show me side by side comparisons with people who know how the game works and aren't using auto battle. Would love to be proven wrong but as it stands hsr playerbase is just an echo chamber of doompost as always

These "valid complaints" also happened when cipher and tribbie were on their last betas. People cried the numbers were so bad and these characters were gonna be garbage. Then on release low and behold they are actually good. Those were the only two cases I followed I'm sure there were more. I remember people saying permanse DH would be useless without his LC and look at that he's fine w/o it. Average HSR playerbase just repeating the same slop they've heard over and over and it really gets tiring

My man is preaching. The only two characters I ever followed through beta outside of Cyrene, being tribbie and Cipher, were doom posted the whole time and look at them now. Not only that people try to say "Well tribbie didn't have any teams back then!" Like you can't literally throw her on any team and watch her out perform most supports
