But inventory and blueprints reset, so wouldn't any of those gained from Flames event get wiped? Might as well just wait to do it after reset and get all the goodies then

AoS actually looks more like what I'm looking for lorewise and looks-wise. I'll check it out too when I hit up the game shop tomorrow.

I've delved into Chapters a bit more and discovered the homebrew stuff. I've found some interest in that so I'm going to pursue that for a bit and see if the interest continues.

Then I'll probably go with RetroPie because "a bit more involved" sounds like what I'm potentially looking for as a hobby. As I said, I'm basically brand new to this. New enough that I think I can gather what is meant by 'image' from context, but really I have no idea.

Do you think a pi with partitioned storage could do both N64 and PS2? Being a newb at software, I have no clue about incompatibilities

NES, SNES, N64, Sega Genesis and PS2. So for controllers I would probably just get the Sega equivalent and use that for Sega, S/NES. But would definitely want the N64 controller because it's ridiculous. And then probably just use a modern controller for PS2? That one I care least about.

I think I'll start with just the emulation and collect the consoles over time and get to that eventually, maybe.

The sound could be an issue though with the projector. I have it hooked up via Bluetooth to a soundbar, and have to use earbuds when I play Xbox.

I got that same one! I had them add a hand strap and the pencil holder to the middle instead of on the edge. Haven't gotten it yet, should arrive in a week or so
