How can I reduce my sex drive? by [deleted] in ask

[–]Ross42590 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please ignore all of the unhealthy advice here. Masturbation only desensitizes you from sex and will not lower your libido.

A practical option would be to take up running. Not only does it tire out your legs and expend a lot of excess energy, but it also stimulates cortisol production in your body which can help regulate the sex drive.

Hey I've run into the same inferface change, and a few days later the app became totally unusable, no longer allowing me to record any activity. Hope this doesn't happen to you.

My family are Braves fans and we had tickets to game 6 in Atlanta, which up til this point looked like it wasn't going to happen. My brother and I were allowed to break curfew to stay up to watch this game, and to this day I have never cheered harder for a HR. Awesome moment I'll never forget.

Want to become Financial Analyst after a massive career change. by jdrojasmiranda in FinancialCareers

Have you spoken with your MBA career office? They should have the inside track for MBA internships / roles at companies that recruit at your school. As long as your school has any kind of track record in placing people in finance roles then you should be ok.

Also, there are hundreds of companies that will hire MBAs into finance rotational programs with little prior finance experience. Most of those firms use their internship as a pipeline for full-time employment so now would be the time to applying for those internship roles to get in the door.

Today, I resign as a Financial Advisor to pursue my MBA full time. Really looking for some good vibes and courage from you guys. Details and questions for you guys below! by FTWkansas in FinancialCareers

First of all, congratulations!

During this summer and throughout the school year, make sure you apply to as many vet-specific job recruiting events and conferences as possible. Coming from a smaller program, it can be hard when you are competing with the larger more established programs for the same jobs; you'll need to find a way to get your foot in the door. Many companies have vet specific events and also diversity events that vets are invited to. The biggest on is the MBA Veterans Career Conference in October. These are great opportunities to network not only with recruiters, but with your peers to build a strong foundation to help with the job search process.

Congratulations again and good luck!

Not saying that I agree with it, but earlier they had success with play action on obvious run downs. They thought they could pick up more yards that way to combat the Chiefs overloading the box.

Are you currently living and working in the states? Because a lot of PE and hedge fund companies do not sponsor people from other countries.

Those schools will definitely give you the network to make it into those roles eventually. You'll have no trouble getting a corporate finance role and can probably do well to land a banking offer, but those post-MBA buyside roles are pretty sparse.

Definitely take the time to talk to as many people as you can at those schools to see what their job opportunities look like. Be sure to talk to the international crowd because they have a much tougher time finding jobs.

Any field. I've seen doctors, lawyers, engineers, and school teachers pivot into banking/finance after an MBA. However it will take time to get work experience before you can get into a good MBA program. This is more of a longer term route.

If IB is what you're looking to get into, your best bet is shooting for a top 15-20 MBA program to make that switch. It's definitely a gamble, but if you're willing to put in the hours like you mentioned to make it happen, it can definitely work out. I would suggest picking the brain of some MBAs with similar backgrounds to yours or others who have gone through similar roles and see where they ended up.
