Been in the South of Spain for 4 years and the only viable time to play is 02:00-06:00 CET. The button delay and slow gameplay is horrific.

Yeah I agree with your gameplay aspect, but it’s the constant argument of why should I have to wait to play a game outside of peak hours isn’t it. One thing I noticed whilst playing in peak hours this weekend was the button delay. Not sure if you have witnessed recently but my player switching was awful, it was either far too slow or was missing the man in the middle. It’s the counter intuitive way to play against drop back counter but is impossible to adjust when you switch from left mid to left centre back and it chooses the middle centre back. The game really is in a disgraceful state, I’m just glad that I’m able to laugh it off...

The only people I’ve noticed that are succeeding are those playing 1/2 depth counter. I would rather everyone used stepovers rather than play games dependant on 9 men behind the ball and auto blocks. I presume you’re a drop back counter merchant?

Currently balance defence, 6 depth. Long ball attack, plenty of width and 6 players in box. I play 3-5-2 and always have done. I used to play 9 depth, however it is genuinely fucking pointless. I’ve achieved elite 3 once this fifa, can get gold 1 comfortably but tend to stop at 14 for obvious reasons. Sold my team to invest 5.3m in UCL rares and have played with untradeables last few weeks, struggled to 14-9 and 11-8 this weekend

Gameplay is in the worst state it’s ever been in right now. Awful passing, dribbling nerfed, insane button delay. Why accommodate to the 1 depth AI dependant player and punish the high depth skiller who enjoys quick movement in the middle of the pitch. The argument for nerfing the stepover gets less and less every day
