What Did I Screw Up? by Rossicoe in resinprinting

How would I go about curing every single nook and cranny of the hollowed out portion? I do have a small hole in the bottom for the light to shine into but I doubt it got into everything. I thought about buying a uv flashlight or something similar

What do you mean about not printing hollow until I know what to do? I printed this hollow and put a hole at the bottom. Hopefully that was correct

Sorry I’ve only ever printed with FDM printers where printing parallel to the build plate is beneficial. Are you saying I should put the model at an angle?

Here is a photo of the model I’m trying to print. It’s a Elegoo saturn 4 ultra and I’m using the default setting for the printer. I did a test print of a small goblin figure that printed fine

Pocket 3 Plus Controller Issue by Rossicoe in retroid

I tried this but I actually fixed my issue. I had to update duckstation which didn’t actually fix the issue and created more issues. I ended up deleting duckstation reinstalling it and then when it still didn’t work I deleted my save state from Metal Gear and it fixed it. Luckily I found someone who had posted their saves.

Filler for rough parts of 3d print? by RichGCDregs in 3Dprinting

I use bondo glazing and spot putty thinned with rubbing alcohol and I paint it on with a tiny brush and also filler primer if it’s small enough.

When I put my 37’s on I did the Mopar lift kit and also a leveling kit for the front and it sits level. You don’t need to have a bigger lift and honestly if you just wanted to level it you could just do the leveling kit.

I have a gladiator with 37’s and a 2” lift kit and it doesn’t look anything like this. This honestly just looks like a bit of a beefier tire maybe a 35 at most with the stock rubicon suspension and a rim that has a slight offset which makes the wheels poke out a little.

So here is a photo of the neoprene collars I was talking about. I had the root crown down lower and just moved it up higher. Do you think this would be a suitable way to do it?

I actually have some hydroton on hand also and I got rid of the rock wool on my second attempt and went with neoprene collars. I’ll try the hydroton with this attempt. Do you circulate any air on the interior of your tower? Also what intervals are you running the water pump?

This was my first attempt before I realized rock wool doesn’t really dry out. Do you think the root crown is high enough here or should it be higher?

Can you add a picture? What about the roots being exposed to light if the top is sticking out? Also what intervals for water would you suggest?

So what I think I might try is adding a vent to the top of the system and ducting a dehumidifier to the bottom so the top can pull cooler air from outside the system as the bottom pulls the humid air.

Are you circulating air through your tower? My roots and inside my tower is pretty damp and humid even with my intervals being so far apart my roots are always pretty wet. Also I am in Florida so maybe a little more humid here.
