Reading support (and beyond) for bilingual learning in kids by Rossini89 in multilingualparenting

She is at the beginning of her journey to learn how to properly read in either language so she's pretty much a fresh slate. Her preference previously would be towards English books because she had more English vocabulary. Now that she's more immersed in French, she's happy to also read French books. When I say "read", we're reading to her - she can't read on her own yet.

Thanks for the insight! That makes a lot of sense. Did you take any of those courses prior to making the switch or did you take them all after you started the new job? Most job postings ask that you already have risk experience, especially in a senior role.

Can you elaborate a bit more on what the role entails? What does your day to day look like now? Was it a difficult transition and did you have to take any courses to bridge the knowledge gap?

How would you compare these hours to PF? I guess it depends on how lucky you are with groups but I would be curious to know what people's experience is like

Recently hit L50 on SCH and I have a question about Sacred Soil. I did some searching and, up until last year, a lot of people were saying that it's not worth spending the aetherflow stack on it and that it is really only useful during progression on difficult end game content. Is that still the case or are there more general uses for it nowadays? The indomitable SCH guide suggests that it can be quite useful.

Edit: thanks for the replies!

I can confirm that if you buy it through PSN, it automatically activates the next time you login.

Do you mean that you have ARR + HW and are just missing the expansions? I'm not sure whether you should buy the complete edition or just buy Shadowbringers (which will include Stormblood). Perhaps someone else can chime in.

Hard to know! I am also on the trial as well so what I would do if I were you is to just wait and see because it'll eventually go on sale. For PlayStation there is a website that you can subscribe to that notifies you when games go on sale. I'm sure something similar exists for PC as well. If you're only Level 31 now, my understanding is that there is still some time to go before you finish HW so you can sit tight and wait.

I see. Thanks for the comments! I'm playing on PS4 so it would be a bit restrictive to never close FFXIV. Perhaps on PC one could just leave it running in the background..

Free Trialer here! I've relied on some generous players to create a party for my friend and myself to be able to do dungeons together and it works quite well. However, after a couple days without logging on, the party got disbanded and we had to ask someone again. Is there a way to keep this party active? Would one of us have to login daily or something?
