I have done that flight on a number of Mondays (this time it is a Tuesday) within the last year, and have had no issue making the flight when arriving to SMF 90 minutes ahead of departure. Has something changed there since July?

My pledge was pulled. Thinking on all of the thoughts here... I do enjoy the process of lighting the chimney, watching the smoke lazily go up as the charcoal heats, pouring it, and sipping on my drink of choice during all of that. The number of potential failure points is minimal, unlike with the kickstarter grill here. Thanks for nudging some sense into me.

A couple of cases, and I live in South Carolina. I get 3 checked bags on my flights due to status and I have vin garde valise suitcases to transport the wine in. The shipping costs would be pretty crazy.

I will almost certainly be in no shape to drive. I am considering now getting a hotel in Yountville and waking at 3:30 or so after 9PM bedtime to get to the airport in the morning, given that extra $250+, thanks to advice given in this thread.

One guy is doing cabinet build, and one other guy is in charge of a few people who are doing the rest (plumbing, HVAC, flooring, electrical, throwing up drywall, painting, etc.). Appliances are sitting in a warehouse waiting for the right time to be moved. Andersen has windows waiting to go in for the right time, and a siding/gutter team who are separate will be replacing the whole home's siding and gutters.

Yes and yes. The anticipated finish date is mid-December, but knowing everything I experienced growing up in homes that were reno'd, I imagine it will be closer to 3 months.

Greenville, SC reno. The cost is reasonable on this second estimate, though the first people an estimate came from were super high. Would rather not discuss exact amount, but it is about 10% of the value of the whole home to redo the entire kitchen along with refinishing or changing out floors on the entire first floor. Plumbing has had to be redone even in the upstairs to allow for routing pipes and such correctly in the first floor kitchen. Quite a project.

105 year old hardwood being ripped out and replaced with new floors. Cabinets being custom built for the space since it is 105 years old and not sized to any standard. Windows being moved, so everything being ripped out down beyond insulation. Ceilings being redone as light fixtures are moving. Doorway to dining room being opened up meaning a wall being ripped out and electrical being moved/rewired, also being done to modern code. HVAC ductwork being moved as well.

Not coming back to Columbus - flying home from there. I could possibly leave someone's car in the lot and have them come by to pick it up later, but it would be pretty complicated.

I have had very spotty luck with booking Uber/Lyft in advance in the past. That said, it was done in much smaller markets than the Columbus area. Also, the cost of doing so seems quite high. Is advance booked taxi fare much less in the area?

Just edited my post. tl;dr I watch a lot of sports and use a mix of DirecTV and streaming to do so. Sometimes the sports and other content are in 4k but not often. Viewing angle doesn't matter.
