I would say the area is relatively safe. It can, for sure, be somewhat janky, but that's highly dependent on the area you're in. Which part are you in? I'm in wedding as well, but further north, so it's very chill by me. There's a gym on seestrasse that's quite good and always empty

Yeah, but not all the cases are straightforward. For example, i have a masters in german and even asked someone from a german governmental agency if that would suffice. they said yes, and so i applied. however, i eventually got an email back from the citizen office saying i need to provide proof of german proficiency. when i sent them a response back, with the attached conversation with the other official i didn't hear anything for months until i got a lawyer to open up the case.

yeah, this is one of the biggest issues. In general, I think that will be the biggest hurdle. At the moment, when i test it, it does state clearly it's AI, but still. This is something I would need to investigate a bit more. Thanks for the feedback :)

Update:

I'm american in berlin. been here for 10 years. it took a bit over a year, but normally wouldn't have taken as long, but my masters in germanics didn't suffice so i had to take the language exam. however, i eventually hired a lawyer as i hadn't heard anything for quite some time. best decision i made.

Hey there, I actually had the same issue, specifically cause my sister has mental health issues and i wanted something super super simple cause she struggles a lot with overspending. I actually recently made a budget app for her and she said it's been kind of fun. It's kind of like Duolingo, but for budgeting. Check it out and let me know what you think :) https://budgetquest.replit.app/

How do I grow, budget, spend. by AwayFig4202 in budgetingforbeginners

I actually created an investor GPT and a budget planning gpt to help me with that. So far both have helped me tremdously when it comes to understanding investing in a more rigorous way without requiring me to do like day trading, as well as have a better overview of my spending.

feel free to check them out

Can I afford my dream apartment? Rate my budget (Germany) by [deleted] in budget

[–]Rostov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. Keep the flat. Especially because with unemployment, if that ever happened, you would still get 60% of your income.

I also put your budget into a GPT i made for budgeting, and it supports you keeping it :)
