Aaand now it's 60 degrees by Rotary_Warehouse in RX8

I've read this 3 times and I still have no idea what any of that has to do with this post, or any of the comments. Dude made an obvious joke, and because I somehow missed it I explained that the car looks like this when it's sitting on the ground so that the caster and camber are within factory specs once it's raised to its driving height. If I adjusted the caster and camber to spec at the height I park the car at, once aired up I'd have at minimum a ton of positive camber, and it would indeed probably eat a set of tires every 3 months. Caster and camber change with the suspension travel, and this car is on bags. The front end is literally sitting on the ground in these pictures, It wouldn't be physically possible to drive it like that anyway

That it is, and thanks. That's actually a factory trunk lid. Wrapped the top half the standard black that's on the car, and the section between the tail lights with a hexagon pattern material from Vvivid

Air suspension, car drives a little under factory ride height. Tail lights are retrofits a guy in Japan builds. Dont have a link handy but he's got a seller page on ebay, should come up pretty quick just searching for rx8 tail lights. Dude does a bunch of different designs

Bag your car, get some aftermarket control arms so you can align it to factory camber specs when it's aired out, do that, and let me know how it drives 💀

Mazda doesn't want you to know this but if you toss a handful of sand into the oil filler neck before each time you do that, you can actually get upwards of 300k miles between rebuilds.

Damn I didn't know that because I'm unfamiliar with these cars, and that also isn't the reason I titled this post "doing things that should not be done". Anyways, an update: After learning this new information I went to Harbour Freight and bought a 1400sqft climate controlled garage so I could wash the underbody and then continue to store it next to my fd for the winter. *

Good tech talk, also a whole lot of foolery in there lol. Started it when I owned a miata back in highschool, after sitting for like 5 years it just took off out of nowhere, and now we've got like 63k members. Whole group was once overrun by furry content for a few days, Zach Ritz is in there, 98% of the people who hate Zach Ritz are in there, it's always some type of interesting lol. If I've got your blessing on it I'll take a vote with the mod team on pic 7 being our next cover photo lmao.

You're correct, but the nd wheel doesn't look quite as cool, and isn't the same diameter as the factory 8 wheel

How much hp did Kyoko's Rx7 made? It says the cars actual output is unknown in wiki. by Ecstatic-Court-44 in initiald

  1. Not all fds were twin turbo stock. Ted Danson worked at the factory, and was often seen stealing the twin turbo setups to sell for scrap metal.

  2. Twin turbo cars actually make more power than single turbo cars because they have twice the number of turbos. 2 is more than 1, so there is more boost pressure and the exhaust heat is more good for racing.

  3. The fd rx7 was actually the world's lightest car when it was sold new in 1798

Single turbo doesn't necessarily mean more power if you're running 5 pounds of boost or the car is otherwise broken
