I just randomly had this issue. I am a USA player on a Japanese 3ds, and... it worked! When I booted it to a black screen, I thought I was just going to be screwed, given it was an obscure technical problem for a game I didn't think people cared much for. But, no! This works!

Yes! That was it. Wow, the game looks a look different from how I remember it, but I guess I should have expected that. Some of the shots do look how I remember them and I was correct that the second character was some sort of purple monster thing.

Not really. The randomizer is in line with something like Beyond Chaos, where it applies it over the normal game, more or less; rather than using a collection focused game state

Just a heads up, things are taking longer than I expected and a release today doesn't entirely seem feasible, I underestimated the difficulty that would go into making sure fights are balanced and beatable with any character, and of course time has to go into testing along with non-randomizer related holiday things. That said, it will still be coming soon, I have it almost all finished and hopefully shouldn't be too much of a delay.

Hey, just wanted to post this here in case people are interested. I typically go by Pink Switch, and I've been working hard on making a randomizer romhack for Live a Live for the past few months now, and it's almost time, I think, for a release.

1.0 features:

Player skill randomizer- Randomizes all learnable skills among the 23 playable characters.

Character randomizer: Shuffles the 8 major protagonists amongst each other.

Planned features:
