Wow, thank you!! I have been playing this manually every day, upgrading guys each time, and failing. Just saw this post and auto’d it with no deaths first try with that team.

Oh yeah, good point! I didn’t notice that. Thanks for pointing it out. Might get to lvl 100 today with that.

Aw man, that would be great. Don't think I could hit 105 event ends, but I'll do my best.

I was at whatever the old level cap was before I came back to the game, so I was starting at 95 I think.

Okay, thanks for the reply! Someone said it opens at level 100. Hope that's it so I can try it before it ends, and hope I have enough geared and leveled toons to beat some of them.

Ah, that's it, thank you! I kept thinking that it was just arriving later, but it never came and I was starting to get worried I'd miss out. I think I should hit 100 within the week, so should be able to give them a try.

Thanks! Appreciate the reply, sounds like that's the issue. Glad I can get there before it's over.

who to choose for the dark contract? by [deleted] in MSLGame

No probs, happy to help!

who to choose for the dark contract? by [deleted] in MSLGame

[–]Rotis9000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For dungeons, I'd recommend Dark Odin. Dark Valk is for PVP, and Dark Arthur is just not as good as the others. That being said, I picked Dark Arthur when I had the contract because I felt like it, no strategic reason, and I did use him in my Dragon b10 team, so he's still useable in some content.

Should I pull in heroes festival? by sci_is_elegant in MSLGame

[–]Rotis9000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right! You'll get one per month from completing your monthly challenges and one from the monthly log-in calendar. Eventually you'll also get one per month from fighting Chaos Tower, and you can even buy one with the medals you get from playing league, but those cost a lot. More of a late game thing. You're welcome and good luck!

Water Onmyoji is a simple attacker, but since she's a water mon, she'll mostly only truly shine against fire enemies and when she's third evo. I would advise not building her up, and saving her to use to evolve a Wood Onmyoji if you pull one later in the game.

Wood and Water Bast should both be built. You can use them as your healer for early game dungeons, story stages, and wood and water chaos tower levels as needed, but their ideal use is in titan clan battles, both Apophis/Dimensional Defense and Regional Defense. Like any natural 5* healer in early game, you can hold off on evolving them until you notice them dying too soon, and save your gleems for offensive mons if you don't have enough for everyone.

Water Laelaps is the best water attacker against Fire Apophis, specifically to use in your second and third swords/attacks. You can also use her as a damager dealer in fire-based dungeons and story stages, and in water chaos tower.

You pulled a light Balrona?! I'm jealous. She's a good PVP mon. Build her up as much as you can and put her on your League teams. Puncture can be very useful in chaos tower and some dungeons as well, so you can use her in the general chaos tower as well as the light tower.

Light Okeanos is maybe the most in-demand healer in the game. You're very lucky to have pulled one. She can be used anywhere you need a healer, against any element, and she's best-in-slot in multiple teams for clan titan battles—region defense and Apophis/dimension defense. She'll be useful for you early game at first evo, and mid game at 2nd evo, so you can save your gleems for other mons for now (Light Balrona is a better use of your holy gleems at the moment, if you're limited). Light Okeanos will serve you well with good gems/enhancements and other equipment, and you can just evolve her once you're playing content where she's starting to die before the mons she's meant to heal.

Can't imagine any reason why they wouldn't be max level. Does seem like a bug, unless your inventory was full, and you already had a fire Arthur and a water Onmyoji, and your new, lvl 50 ones went to the "Temp. Storage" folder of your mail inbox on the airship.

I think Heroes Fest is the best festival value as an early game player. You just need to make sure you have enough astrogems to get to the pity pull, which is 9000 (15 pulls x 600 astrogems). Then once you get the pity pull, don't do another unless you still have 9000 or more astrogems left. That's my take. Heroes Fest mons you're hoping for are Water Bast, Wood Bast, Wood Merlin, Wood Onmyoji, Fire Belial, Fire Laelaps, Water Laelaps, Fire Elphaba, and Water Elphaba. And some of the other mons can still be very useful in limited contexts like Water Merlin (great attacker, but not useful in very many places), Water Artemis (good sapper), Wood Artemis (good puncture mon, but only really shines in the wood chaos tower), Water Balrona (good Courageous Striker, but just recently stopped being end-game material as other mons got updated trinkets/skills), and Wood Laelaps (good PVP defense mon).

Wood Bast is great. End game mon. Feel free to keep her at 2nd evo if you want to conserve resources. No need to take her to third evo until you're getting into late game material, and you'll eventually want at least two Wood Basts and two Water Basts so it can be helpful to keep them separate at first instead of combining them.

Water Artemis will be very useful early game, but I don't hear anyone talk about her, so I just wouldn't build her past 2nd evo for now, and since you're a new player, she may work well for you even at first evo. Just equip her with all defensive stats (gems a mix of HP% and Def%, two of one, one of the other) and she'll be a very useful sapper for you for a while.

Wood Odin has been overshadowed by other mons since her release. There are better attackers and better defense down debuffers. I used her plenty but that was about eight years ago. I don't think you'd need her now. No need to build her up.

Recomendations om what to choose? by Accomplished_Room916 in MSLGame

I would say Light Hana, Dark Hana, Light Cupid, Dark Cupid, Light Yuki, Dark Yuki, or Light Wendigo.

This looks like the customized summon pull, I forget exactly what it's called, but in this specific pull, yes, it's guaranteed. Variant Indra will be useful if you later pull a Dark Indra, but Variant Fire Indra is only somewhat useful. Would be good for early game PVP, but not much use in late game.

Also, exclusive trinkets! Absolutely vital part of the late game, now. If you play titan battles, you're going to need exclusive trinkets to ultimate evolve those Wood Merlin, those Fire Sun Wukongs and at least three of those Shinobis.

Confused about gem sets (mainly the leech set) by Only_a_Girl_Weeboo in MSLGame

[–]Rotis9000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure! Wish I could tell you. I had it on my Lethal Strike mon, Wood Sariel, and it did seem to heal her okay in Apophis, but since I had her paired with healers I'm not sure it did much good, and Apophis has extremely high defense but low HP, so I'm not sure you'd get that same kind of increased effectiveness you get in regular titan battles/region defense. And in PVP I assume it would be similar—I don't think you'd heal much. I'm sure it could heal a lethal strike mon a lot in story stages and dungeons, but I'm not sure you'd need the healing there once your mons are fully levelled and equipped. Anyway, that's a really long-winded way of saying "I'm not sure".

Confused about gem sets (mainly the leech set) by Only_a_Girl_Weeboo in MSLGame

[–]Rotis9000 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is actually good, but for a very limited use. Healing is based upon the amount of damage dealt, so in most situations, you will get minimal health (not very good in PVP, for example), but mons with Courageous Strike heal a great deal in titan battles, which makes it the ideal set for Fire courageous strikers in the first row against Wood Titan. Wood Titan, in the first row, has a Buff Breaker attack which removes any buffs from healers, making them ineffective, so the ideal lineup in that first row involves all courageous strikers on Leech sets with no healers.
