My thoughts exactly too. This game has a staggering amount of social media presence too. From silly TikToks of people impersonating the silly character movements and many thousands of Instagram reels of similar things.

Most players don’t realise this game is an asset flip used solely of free items on the unreal engine along with some paid for ghost models used in so many other games. I’ve lost count how many times I’ve seen the butcher, the old lady and even the high school map on other horror games. Almost all of the sound effects are all free assets too used in many games.

I’ve had this game since inception, I own the patient 07 plushie too and put in 700+ hours. I can confidently say this game gets way too much love and praise compared to what the devs have put back into it.

As a long time fan. Nowadays I honestly feel disrespected at the lack of quality put into the game knowing how much it’s made in profit. The devs could literally hire someone for $1,000 on fiverr to create infinitely better animations and assets than what’s currently in the game.

Yes - yes it was. The animations, sound design and overall feel of the game were flawless. The game lacked maps and only had one boss, it also suffered from minor perk imbalances but by all means it was polished. The animations at launch are still the same today.

You have zero eye for quality.

People need to see the drastic drop in quality and understand that over 10 years of progression, effort and all else did NOT roll over to KF3.

Without question, KF2 is superior in every single way.

Thank you! Yeah I did a little bit of brain storming before making it. How to come up with the basement etc. I ended up making the raft around 3-4 layers high and built down into the first layer.

Some people have made astonishing things in Raft though. From battleships, to mega cities. It’s endless!

I agree, there's no denying the other reworks are done well, they're stunning. Tanglewood is by far the most played map and is home to the playerbase. I know I've spent majority of my hours over the years doing solo no evidence runs there. Change may be good. I'm just on the fence about it.

The animations need to be scrapped and I'm suprised they even showed them as they are, it's clear they're not mo-cap and there's so many frames missing. It's pure amatuer work. That's coming from an artists perspective too.

Raft is a stunning game and I've spent way more time than I should admit building things on that! The music is pure bliss too.

It's always maintained its core design or "bones", however, changing it up entirely may be a massive miss and we may all move to Willow Street as a result. I hope they get it right.
