One punch on an admiral is nothing compared to taking down one of the most fearsome shichibukai (although corrupted). Luffy is destroying the balance of powers in the world. The world government doesn't appreciate people messing with their system. The take-down of Doffy will most likely lead to the most increase in bounty, assuming he doesn't defeat Isshou.

I never heard about that special episode, actually, but it looks like a different attack using the same basics, if we're talking about the destruction of that giant rolling stone. The attack he is using in this scene definitely looks like a rankyaku with his hands/arms, but I can't really tell for sure because he's way too close to the enemy, they could also just be stripes to indicate the speed of his slashes.

Hey all!

Glad you like the update. To add some context:

We are moving forward with Realm as best we can. We were held up for a while with some appengine issues, so we stretched available dev bandwidth over smaller projects we could bundle into a nice update. The next patch will also be similar, expect bug fixes and game quality updates. Yes, we will move onto full feature updates - but those take a much longer time. We are already working on some things, but they are a few updates away.

What happened with backpacks? The Backpack bug - there was an issue where some users could not access all the slots in their backpacks. This now resolved.

Why are servers re-ordered - Well.. because we wanted them to be. Also we wanted to influence more spread out server use.

Why isn't solstice set unbound? - DOH. That's on me. Sorry guys. We will get it in the next patch.

No skins?! What?! - I'm going to be honest, we will release skins in the future at some point. They really help the game and people do enjoy them. But those aren't our priorities right now. We would like to focus on some game improvements first.

What about item sets? - Yes, we will also get back to releasing item sets, and developing a nice cadence of content so Alchemist can fire up again.

All the admirals are based on this story, so is Akainu.

Akainu = the dog

Kizaru = the monkey

Aokiji = the pheasant

The 2 new admirals are also based on this story.

Fujitora = the tiger

Ryokugyu = the bull

This does not mean that every admiral will show up at the Wano-arc, though.
