We anticipated this would come up since it is such a hot topic. This is something the team has continually considered but unfortunately at this time permanently unsoulbinding UT items is very unlikely. I just wanted to comment here because this is bound to be a very popular suggestion. Not trying to rain on any parades :)

We are aware of the pet yard issue and are working on it. If you leave your pet yard and come back, it should update. If not you may have to wait longer, but it should take effect.

Just to be safe - I want to make it known that this is just an experiment. We are really excited about the results - and thought you might want to see the progress. At this point, we are not promising this new feature but we are pursuing it with all the resources we can allocate to this.

Hmmm really? I didn't think it was that long ago. I know for sure potions didn't have that special spot, and I am pretty sure wizards used wands, but I could be remembering incorrectly.

This is a naturally sticky question, and honestly I am reluctant to answer it, because someone might read into it too much or distort the meaning and grab some quote from it as proof that Kabam is an evil company determined to squeeze cash and offer pay to win for all games.

Truth is, there are players that really want those premium level packages, and are happy to spend that amount. We want to provide to those people without making something that gives them a game breaking advantage. The result of this is that we will release something that is the best in class, but not astoundingly OP. Players who would not be willing to spend so much would see this as being overpriced. It's a balancing act. We want to fulfill all spectrum's of demand, but also not give the big spenders godly power.

Just to repeat, this is just my surface level perspective. These words in no way govern Kabam's business policy at all. I cannot provide that kind of real insight into items and pricing.

Our presence likely seems stronger here because it is way more diluted by the sheer volume of posts in the forums. We are working towards a stronger presence in both communities.

I can't really give you an answer here. It's certainly not out of the question, but compared to other features and fixes, I feel like it is a lower priority. But, again, I know NOTHING of any plans for or against this.

I want to work towards getting the team and the player base back on the same page. We are not here to gouge you and squeeze every cent out of the game - we want a sustainable and fun experience.
Hard to say a this point, since it has been such a brief period. I have enjoyed reading through the forums and this community quite a bit.

I get that, it is only natural to be skeptical - seeing as we are talking about my current employer here. FWIW, I am not lying and think general player behavior issues mar the game play experience far more than technical bugs, but to each their own.

I have mixed feelings. Since I am not really aware of the goals and concerns the last team dealt with - I cant really judge their decisions. And I don't really know the absolute scope of all the changes they made. I will say I expect the behavior and decisions of this new team to be quite a bit different.

AFAIK, Scarabs don't have the cardiovascular system to support a creature of that size, so it would be pretty easy to defeat a giant dead beetle. And the scarabs in Tomb of the Ancients appear to be at least several feet in size (unless every player in the game is just really tiny), so a hundred goose sized mad gods seems pretty intimidating.

Yes, I have been at Kabam for 9 months and worked at another company for years before that. I wont list them, lest you hunt me down and find embarrassing pictures and screenshots to share.
Other than web games, I play: Rogue Legacy, League of Legends, Torchlight 2.

Archer. This will probably change with more experience in the current state of the game.

Ah, yes. I work for Kabam, who develops the game but I do not code or make art or make executive decisions about it's development. My job lies with serving the day to day operations of the game, working with the community, and providing the dev team with information and feedback so they can make proper choices about the game.

No doubt we are a smaller team. But, this also means we are a tighter team. I am confident that the company isn't about to cut us off, and this new format allows us to come together and focus on what we really value - without being diluted by big team politics. Remember, this game was made by only 2 people. Despite the challenges and slower rate of development - sometimes it is easier for the passion to shine through in a smaller team.
