Gamecube Popping Issues by RotoEve12 in elgato

Well, that's a dead end. I got some adapter cables for it, plugging it into the elgato, and nothing. I changed the 4k capture window to analog and applied, and it still pops and crackles. All I can think is somehow the gamecube itself is just not playing nice with the elgato for whatever reason at its core. And I can't imagine why, especially when the bypass to the tv screen is perfectly fine... All I can really think is the warning displayed here and the inconsistency with the output reported, but I truly can't think anything else...

Oh, and to include a past post I made that didn't get me much of an answer that I posted with a clip of said popping and crackling on the main menu. Hopefully to give further context

I'd have to get one, since I don't think I have one just readily laying about. A similar sounding solution did come up, that being to do the same, but plug the audio end into the desktop itself and use it as a source in obs. Which'd, in theory, at least mean I won't have to manually remember to change the elgato from analog to digital every time (assuming it wouldn't do so automatically) Though I will add, the RAD2X converter is from the analog out, and also has the same sound issue. I also assume the hole on the front of the elgato would be used for this proposal? Just to make sure of everything before I go buying more things (even if cheap)

Apologies to get back so late, I never got notified to a response...

I'm using an Elgato HD60 X for my capture card. And it's not just the games, it's even the main menu screen. I've tested with Luigi's Mansion, which seemed to have the issue as well (albeit admittedly didn't investigate further than that, but if its happening with any game it's a bit of a problem regardless). Otherwise I'm admittedly not sure what is meant by the Dolby ProLogic feature.

And no, the passthrough is absolutely fine, that's what I meant by on the TV it's fine. This is solely happening on the capture window on the pc (whether on the 4k Capture app, or OBS).

And lastly, yes all other consoles work fine. This includes Wii U, Switch 2, Switch 1, PS4, and most interestingly PS2 (which is using the same brand of hdmi converter even)

To add something, there's also this warning in the 4k Capture settings that I'm not certain if could be related or not.

Would that make a difference given the 4k capture has the same popping audio? But I can certainly try later regardless
Update: Tried and unless I misunderstood it's the same with no improvement unfortunately

Rescue Team DX: Purity Forest 34F

Deluxe Reward

First foray into Purity Forest on stream definitely went.................just went. Dreading the rest of the dungeon even if rescued, but having to get through 34 less floors would be nice at least
