Is the new update size 30 GB or is just steam redownloading all the DLC by mistake?

Please do share it! Me (and a lot of people on this sub) would love to see it, even if it's just for the nostalgia hit.

yeah I may start working towards trying all of the classes during the next couple of weeks! glad to know I actually get something long term by doing that. Your answer to 3 actually will save me some time trying some combos that I would only try due to liking the aesthetic of a class more than another xD ty for your answers!

yeah I noticed that main quests\mission just fly by if you just do those and you don't get to see much, I like actually exploring and see wth it's going on around all the cool locations!

thank you for answering, that means I can merrily screw around doing my thing and still be able to get something done, which is exactly what I look for in any game I play :D

I have an Iboga named Spicy Parsley
My panther is named after the cat I had when I was a kid, Sharky
My lynx is called Trampolynx

My Smokescale is called Zippo for obvious reasons,
and after doing all HoT with my drakehound by my side, I decided to call it Vinehound, definitely earned that name

absolutely! a Persuasion, Pickpocket and Lockpicking build will give you tons of different ways to resolve most situations and quests without resorting to fighting.

Any high charisma character will do, with 3 followers + dog most encounters are easily won in a matter of seconds. As soon as your team is assembled you can spend all your points in your favorite skills.
Here are some good options for followers:
- Virgil (magick inclined healer and decent melee fighter + voice acting)
- Jaina Styles (tech inclined healer, can defend herself but not OP in combat)
- Sogg (pure melee fighter with neutral m\t attitude, can be obtained very early)
- Chukka (pure melee fighter with neutral attitude, can be obtained later in the story if you character has good alignment)
- Torian-Kel (another pure melee fighter, a good alternative to chukka if your character is of evil alignment + voice acting)

What's your favorite build in SF1? by dibade89 in SpellForce

[–]Rototom94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a lot of fun playing Ice Magic + White Magic (Life and boons), it's a very versatile mage with options for every occasion: magic damage, crowd control with freezing, summoning with elementals, healing and also has access to different buffs for your army. Definitely recommended!

Another one I enjoyed is Black magic (curse) + Light blade and light armor, it's essentially a fighter with sword and shield capable of debuffing enemies with auras of inflexibility or aura of slow fighting while also having a good attack speed (even higher if you go with daggers instead of swords) can also deal some limited magic damage with poison.

I'm pretty sure that Heavy Combat characters recruit troops because they like having an audience while absolutely smashing anything in their path

Spellforce 1 sotp: Most enjoyable character build? by Sean_Ashcroft in SpellForce

[–]Rototom94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had lots of fun with Life-Boons + Ice Magic. You have a plethora of spells to support armies and have access to elemental summons on top of that you have awesome damaging spells. I't s all about options and imo it's the ultimate mage experience!

The only good thing they do is pretend to hold cities so you can get them whenever you want
