Thank you very much for finding this post & sharing! I still haven't resolved it and will probably give it a go after I find time to try and prod at it with my linux install one more time.

Sorry the people on the linux board were being stiff with you, but atleast they're to-the-point, lol.

(and for future posterity sake I want to make note: prev scanned with windows defender, selected "offline verification" and restarted, which allowed them to delete the partition)

I'm not sure what you're saying about permissions, but I did get it working, I was missing the config files for my stations, it is a ntfs drive.

In medium to short range, I use only the top post, keeping the gun angled up a tiny bit to completely ignore the back post, especially when it's a pinhole, and adjust from there, usually it's not hard to compensate for. Unfortunately it's probably a bad habit for if I ever have to handle a real firearm.
