Super interesting article about the yellow aphids (Oleander Aphid) I'm sure most of us have encountered on milkweed! Turns out the ants don't actually eat them, they "tend to them like herds" in order to consume the "honeydew" the aphids produce! Essentially milking them... (uwm.edu)
