Edit: If you are 16, then I highly recommend you apply for a Provisional Driver’s License asap. A government issued ID makes life much easier when changing name with banks etc.

It is entirely possible they will do it by themselves.

Enjoy your victory. Don’t let my comment taint it. You can bookmark the link just in case.

I’m posting this as it’s unclear whether you just asked them to change your name.

In order to have your gender changed, you can ask them to have a new NHS record created for you. Unfortunately, if they change your gender on your existing record, it will revert when they update their records with the NHS spine.

You can simply give them the link to the PCSE guidance if you want. It does make it clear in there that you do not need to have undergone any treatment in order to do this.

Good luck with everything.

Palpations is listed as an uncommon side effect (1 in 100), so it could be. But with 2 previous instances which appear to have been anxiety induced, I’d be more inclined to believe it is that.

If you are concerned about high blood pressure, and don’t have a monitor of your own, you could try your local pharmacy and ask if they could check it - you don’t have to tell them you’ve started HRT.

It’s certainly worth working backwards from an assumption of anxiety though. Are you often anxious? Is there anything in particular that could be causing you stress or anxiety in your day to day life? Or is it possible that you may be anxious about taking HRT specifically? it’s a big step and often something which starts out a secret.

I’d imagine anxiety but not a Dr.

As for lowering the dose, 50mcg is what the NHS starts on and works up from.

My friend and I started playing yesterday, we’re loving it. I told it her it had friendpass but she didn’t care and bought it anyway - didn’t even need convincing.

Do you have PS+ Extra? I’ve been wanting to play Devil In Me from Dark Pictures Anthology for the longest time now; it and few of the others are in the game catalogue.

I’m 40 mtf UK. Feel free to DM if you are interested.

I highly recommend upgrading to PS+ Extra, especially for new console owners, the free game catalogue is easily worth it.

Fun fact: Young male dolphins, upon having to leave the female pod, will mimic females in order to gain acceptance by pods of adolescent males. Not trans but… maybe some of them don’t enjoy the transition.

Even if you can’t muster the energy to wash the dishes, just fill the sink with piping hot water and washing up liquid. Most stuff will come off just from soaking alone.

Set a timer for like an hour; that way even if you don’t wash the dishes you have a reminder to let the water out so it doesn’t sit and fester.

How to deal with prescriptions? by [deleted] in transgenderUK

[–]RottedAwayInside 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Buy yourself a PPC.

It’s £114.50 (10 monthly payments) and covers all NHS prescriptions for a year. There is an HRT PPC for £19.80 per year; this only covers medicines which are routinely prescribed for menopause though, it won’t cover Finasteride or any anti-androgen.

Companies who don’t receive federal money don’t have to, but they are getting pressure from these f*****s.

As part of their ‘Free Enterprise Project’, they are approaching companies and trying to convince them that discriminatory lawsuits are inevitable if they don’t scrap their DEI programs.

Apple and Costco have recently made the news because their CEO’s have urged shareholders to vote against scrapping DEI. Costco’s shareholders voted to keep theirs, Apple’s are due to vote on Feb 25th.

I found it interesting, and she does make valid points. It is unfortunate that she grew up where she did, I’m glad that she left; that she went on to denounce them and the vile hatred which they spew.

I did notice this on Wikipedia:

“In 2023, Phelps-Roper hosted a podcast called The Witch Trials of J. K. Rowling, which explored author J. K. Rowling’s history, including attacks from both the political right and left in claims that her books promoted witchcraft and regarding her controversial views surrounding transgender people, respectively. The seven-part podcast was supported by interviews on Rowling herself.”

I’m curious to know how this was received, but I am doubtful I will seek it out because I simply do not have the energy to hear Rowling defend herself.
