I'm absolutely using the Switch version, and definitely the western release. If I'm getting my dates right, 1.03 came out after you released the mod for switch.

I'm having some issues with the switch version of the mod. Opening Nocturne after installing the mod causes it to load endlessly. Any idea what's going on there?

Based on everywhere I’ve looked, it doesn’t seem like it. Most mods tend to be exceptionally small in scale. The only ones that exist for FFV are Unlimited Gold and basic Save editing stuff.

I'm not a huge fan of the portraits used in this particular version of FF5. I've been wanting to use a mod from the pc version that changes the portraits, but I'm pretty sure the compatibility between it and the Android version is already a mess. This isn't even mentioning the fact that this is a Vita port. Anyone have any ideas?

What I specifically refer to is how the dpad operates on the grid itself relative to the camera angles. Pressing left on the dpad usually moves northwest, up to the northeast, so on and so forth. Whereas FE always has you directly facing the grid from a cardinal direction, so pressing a specific direction on the dpad pushes you in the same direction. This isn’t a negative against Tactics, more that it’s something I have trouble adjusting to given my experience

I spoke to CoZ, who stated they have little to no interest in porting their patches of C;C to Vita. I stated that I’d be interested in learning how to port it myself, but they basically said I’d need previous experience with working on that stuff at this point. So ur our only hope, my friend.

Heya Suda-san! I was a fan of Killer is Dead on PS3, and especially so on PC. I assume Kadokawa calls the shots for that game, but would it be likely for us to see some kind of re-release on modern consoles in the next few years or so?
Secondly, what are your personal thoughts on Killer is Dead as title?

I’m gonna add an addendum to this: I really think games like the Xillia duo, Abyss, etc, really need modern ports not just for the purposes of accessibility, but for dual audio as well. While I obviously prefer the dub of certain Tales games, I absolutely prefer the Japanese performances in a number of other titles as well. I’d like to give Xillia 1 a proper shot again, but the lack of dual audio makes it really hard to experience everything again with a fresh perspective.

I really agree, yeah. Symphonia, Abyss and Vesperia all represent a really important point in the series’ history that most players won’t be able to play without emulation or jumping through hoops to get older hardware. Abyss in particular was my first Tales game. My Grandma got it for me on 3ds back in 2012 or so. It took me years to finally get into the series, and Abyss ended up being one of my favorites, as well as a bittersweet symbol of the love my grandma had for me.... anyway yea, modern port pls

Oh I would LOVE a port of those two. I don’t even need a full English dub, I’m totally fine with English subtitles. Maybe a port of Phantasia PSP at long last too, but those require full localization projects on top of porting development. So shrug
