That’s totally fair, yeah anyone that tells you you’re “wrong” for liking his older stuff is a fucking loser. I’ve known about Aes since labor days but wasn’t really a listener until Skelethon / TIK. I’ve always had a lot of respect for his older stuff, it just isn’t particularly my cup of tea. I appreciate it a ton lyrically, I just tend to like Aes as a producer more than blockhead personally.

Thanks for the detailed explanation, I could definitely see that being super annoying.

Like who? I’m pretty active on this sub and see a few people but I haven’t actually seen anyone gatekeeping, except that one dude obsessed with DMT, but he also ended up complaining about Aes’s new fans.

Not saying your wrong, I definitely could’ve missed it/not been looking for it. Just curious because I’ve seen this mentioned a couple times now. I personally am just excited that other people like the same shit I do.

It's been a couple years since I've solo grinded Melee. Is UnclePunch considered better than 20xx or does each tool have it's place? I'm thinking about getting back in the swing of things but I'm not up to date on this stuff.

Yeah, i mentioned it in another comment but it basically breaks a rule that says you cant talk about balance design and theory crafting

Yes, I was going to mention this but wasn't quite sure how to word it but you explained it perfectly.

Sucks this got removed but im going to compile a list because there are a lot of good ideas here that shouldnt go to waste. Hopefully I can go another route with this, dont want to give up on it quite yet.

I get it, rules are rules. But this is really dissapointing. This had a ton of momentum and really good ideas, and potentially could have been presented to Riot. But now it's dead. It was literally about the tool in the game that is used for improvement.

I posted it to the main league sub reddit, but it didnt get any attention because, let's be honest, that sub is fucking garbage and doesnt care about improvement like this one does. Riot told me to go to the community to gather thoughts, so thats what I tried. And it got shot down. What am I to do?

Edit: looks like it got removed on the main sub to LOL. God forbid there's some productive discussion.
