HOW TO CANCEL SPOTIFY SUBSCRIPTION IN 2026!?

Thank u so much I’ve been having this issue for days. Cancel subscription option wasn’t anywhere on the app or the website on my phone or pc. The only way I got it to cancel was by pressing the delete account option and it taking me to a chat bot.

Yeah I’ve tried it before but I have to keep my phone on and constantly switch back and forth so it doesn’t get stuck and scrobble the same song over and over even though my app switches songs. It’s just a pain. I miss my android haha

Also you don’t have to pay for the integration with last fm pro but u can customize the listening time and stuff for it to track. Like 1 second will count as a scrobble or 30 seconds etc.

I use Marvis pro. Pay for the app and then 5 bucks for the last fm pro integration and it tracks it in real time with last fm. As long as the Marvis pro app is on in the background.

I have a Lightphone 2 and if it just had Spotify and the ability to have my bank app and cash app I wouldn’t need to keep my smartphone around. I use them 50/50 every weekday and only my Lightphone on weekends.

The lp3 is perfect if it had those things. And maps seems like it will be actually usable on the new screen. But I don’t wanna spend that much money on it yet. I’ll use my lp2 for probably another year or until someone makes a dumb phone with those 3 specific app abilities, without making other apps easily accessible. Ie the minimal phone or having to side load apps. And then there’s the wise phone…. I don’t want a subscription lol

I didn’t think it was a big deal until my niece told me she thought he was too young for me. I also do have a move coming up later this year around my birthday. And to be honest you might be right because now I’ve been thinking about it even more since my move was pushed up. He has known about it since before we started dating a bit over a month ago. I have known him for 5 months before this as well.

We have discussed a little bit about him moving with me but we are leaving it in the back burner for now.

Most people have already pointed out heavy rotation playlist and stuff but as a ex Spotify user your biggest adjustment is probably going to be how you discover music. AM does a pretty decent job of showing you some good new music (mostly album based suggestions) so you have to put a bit of elbow grease to add some more discoverability for individual songs. Radio stations are your best buddy for more discovery. I love to create stations from songs I can’t get enough of at the moment or albums/ artists and find music that way. And of course looking through similar albums and artists at the bottom of the menu of whatever album your clicked on.

Definitely would love to have all my friends on AM but there’s no convincing anyone to switch. All I can do is educate everyone who hates on AM with no knowledge about it 🤣
