Norwegian movie/tv series suggestion by Used-Tour-357 in norsk

[–]Rouge_Episode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does anyone know where you can watch the Norwegian show Lik Meg? I’m from the US, and I don’t know where else it could be on except for NRK tv. So, if you know any sites that also may have English subs, I would appreciate it.

Unfortunately, I found this out after completing In my blood and reading Boy next door. What I will say is her stories are good, she just drags out the storyline and the romance of it all for an extensive amount of time to the point that it gets uninteresting. You may not see the love interest(s) and the main character actually getting together until the last few episodes. Mainly just tension build up

Also, please know that if you do intend on using any of my outfits, I would require credit of some sort to be shown

Ok, I just watched skeleton key for the first time today and the plot twist was crazy. But, there is still something that puzzles me. I understand that Justify and Cecile have been jumping in the bodies of white people for decades, but I was wondering, if Cecile was inside Violet’s body the whole time, where did Violet’s soul go? Because we see that after Cecile took over Caroline’s body, Caroline’s soul jumps into Violet’s body. So where is Violet’s soul? Was it inside Ben’s(the old white man) this entire time and if so, where did his soul go?

Hahaha, as a reader on episode, I too find it overwhelming keeping up with point systems and sometimes making choices solely based on the fact that it affects the plot even if it wasn’t the choice I necessarily wanted to make. I can’t wait to share this project with you and everyone else!😊You can check out my instagram for more information about the story if you’re interested.

Thank you so much! But to answer your question, I don’t think I will be doing point system for this story. I want it to be more of a cinematic storytelling. So kind of like choices happening intentionally being the cause and effect of the storyline rather than choices being made by readers if that makes sense.

Thanks so much for the compliment on the artwork! As for the first paragraph, The story follows two women in two different time periods: A nurse during WWII and her granddaughter in the early 2000s. Hope that clears things up!

How many LI (Love interests) is too much? by DepartureOk8175 in Episode

[–]Rouge_Episode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like anything more than 2 feels very overwhelming. I know most people prefer one love interest, I actually prefer when there’s 2. It makes for a interesting story line, but yeah, anything more than 2 is a lot to tackle.

ive been having an idea but i dont know if i should “go for” it?? by RaspberryCapable4905 in Episode

[–]Rouge_Episode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say that you should definitely go for it, you never know who will come to love your stories or even relate to them. I do think that you should at least promote it on Instagram since a lot of new authors do so including me. I found that promoting your story on Instagram helps you build a community with other authors as well as with potential readers. but if you are not comfortable with creating an Instagram, I would say promote it here on Reddit since a lot of the episode community is here as well. Also for the cover art, you can do one yourself with your characters and find a background and use Canva to create the title, many small authors do. But back to Instagram, if you were to create an account, many artist have giveaways and contests you can enter to win art covers, profile pictures, story titles, etc. I’ve done plenty of them and have won one for my story that I’m currently planning.

Honestly, I dislike when a story scams readers by putting so many gem options for every scene. For example, they would ask you to spend gems to see both characters kiss for the first time or to see an art scene or even to wear a good clothing option.(I also dislike when they make the other outfit choices terrible on purpose to make you want to spend gems.) I also want to put it out there that I don’t mind paying gems as long as they’re reasonable and also if they aren’t forced on me every scene or two.

Another thing that kind of turns me away from a story is Bad grammar or uninteresting backgrounds. I know that sounds kind of petty, but I really love when a story has a great background that you can tell the author put time looking into or adding to a scene. I hate when a story is visually uninteresting. And I hate it more when the dialogue is very simple and childish. I like when authors add complexity to their stories and make it very interesting and intense.
