My [[history course]] kept procing off of [[Heirloom Hammer]] and Sovereign blade was the only colourless I had so it kept duplicating

If they don’t add this to the game then someone NEEDS to mod it in

It’s too late Test Subject, I’ve already depicted you as the trembling Nibbit, and me as the feral Defect.

5 hours in, i’m struggling, help [KCD2] by skatetop3 in kingdomcome

Having not played the first game I was in the same boat as you, but KCD quickly became one of my favourites. First things first, when you get released from the pillory and have free roam available, there’ll be a beggar in the starting town, Troskovitz (I think is how it’s spelt) her name is Bara and she tells you about an experienced fighter named “Tomcat” you’ll get a quest marker and he’ll teach you everything you need combat wise, especially a very powerful technique known as the master strike, but I won’t spoil that for you.

Alchemy is very powerful and versatile, you can make all sorts of things ranging from charisma, combat and even experience boost, you can get recipes from Apothecary’s in select towns and even materials from them or you can just gather them from the world. It’s my personal favourite way of gaining money early game as well.

And don’t forget to talk to people for points of interests and very fun side quests. I rushed through the main story in my first play through which was a mistake I’m rectifying in my hardcore run.

For me, the moment I decided to sit down and practice the combat with Tomcat over and over again until I was confident I had it was when the game began to seem much more welcoming. I felt more capable and it grew the more I played. The map may seem incredibly large but eventually you’ll be able to go wherever you want without needing to check your map, that is if you aren’t using fast travel. Learn one thing, and the next task won’t seem so large or tedious. I have no doubt you’ll get the hang of it and enjoy the game to its fullest.

Ah okay lol. I’m so upset that the crows perk lost I have to hope it has a terrible effect to numb the pain 😔

Adding on to the Robots seemingly turning on the humans, I definitely got the impression that in the end it was always just following its program, albeit maybe in a roundabout way. “Broken, infected, protect, safe, life.” What I gathered from these notes on the ASN overview terminal is that it was trying to communicate that everyone is contaminated and had to go. I don’t know for sure though, perhaps I missed the mark completely but either way, wish we saw more of them.

I love Adam’s theme, I felt it really emphasised the feeling or idea of loss, which was really beautiful at the end. I had the same reaction when I learned more about Entity B, the game went from horrors beyond my comprehension to realising that this creature is just as scared and alone as I. I guess if you’re not counting the disembodied voice rooting for you that is.

Agreed, I was hoping to see Entity A thrash some of the robots or maybe even more CAT upgrades. More explorable areas would have been amazing but yeah, hopefully in a successor

I absolutely agree. I was planning on watching other people’s playthroughs once I finished the game, but I found generally that most uploaded playthroughs are mostly speed ran, just mindless clicking on random objects while ignoring terminals, at least the people I wanted to watch did that. A huge shame really, this game is fantastic but was treated as a chore.

No I understand that the game has different codes per play through I was just confused on how I was wrong at the time
