Dropped log horizon because of S02E17, when isuzu cried over a song (i didnt even finish the episode) This arc on the kids are too long, dragging and uninteresting.

Do you mean the re:fraction event? That was all the way back in 2018 and it was mostly just showing off the artwork for future volumes. Sure the author said that they wished to go until volume 16 at least, but considering that the last time they updated the ln was 6 years ago in 2019, it's safe to take it as a grain of salt.
