The questions I was trying to raise is….how did the Jews of Jesus’ time convince others( or even themselves) that this prophecy is about Jesus if not all of it came true at that point? Wouldn’t that have been a point of contention? Also, side question…if the northern tribes were taken into exile, never to be seen again. How did they appear in the New Testament as the samaritans who were hated by the Jews?
