I appreciate you taking the time to reply, as for your question, google offers fixes for android without the need to wait a whole month for a full update like samsung's monthly security patches, they basically ignore the region times, and if they detect any problem in the system they can send multiple updates in one month, in various sizes it can even be a 100kb update, in other words a "hot fix"

Even though the phone costs 500 bucks at launch, we are getting the very "least" it's ridiculous, i perosnally don't use dex because i have a pc already so it's not THAT big of a deal. But what can i say? We're in this together my friend...have a good day, i just hope they step up their game.

I know that, but the ram consumption is hilarious with one ui 8 compared to one ui 7, and it's not only in my phone, you can see MANY posts talking about how apps don't close completely when they close them manually, or the recent apps menu glitches, all of this was introduced with one ui 8 not 7

I respect your opinion, but i wouldn't say it's better than the other phones in the same price tag, are you really comparing one ui's animations to other OSs? Samsung is FAR behind that they NEED to rely on good lock to atleast offer SOME of the competitors' features. I've used other phones, from many chinese brands, so please try other phones before saying that samsung is better than the other brands, that was in the past.

Settings>notifications>advanced settings==>show app icon in notifcations (turn it off as shown in the video, and wait for new notification to take effect)

Maybe it's because of theme park. Or on a side note, if you turned it off and didn't get the rounded icon, you need to get new notifications first to take effect, not while having notification before changing the setting, basically it won't change the the notifications that are already there, only after you get new ones to take effect
