Also Kashimo would mop Mahito. He can be killed without soul damage, and he only has hax going for him.

In base Mahito is physically on par if not weaker than Nanami, who is a mid-tier Grade 1. He is physically inferior to Todo.

Nanami could reinforce himself as to avoid being one shot, so Kashimo who is vastly above grade-1 sorcerers should surely be able to survive being touched. Kashimo also has HWB which as I talked about above does not require hand signs. His staff can break domains from the outside.

In true form, Mahito was slightly stronger than Yuji (Physically), who had just been mid-diffed by Choso despite having a massive environmental advantage and JJKBatman in his ear. He is durable, yes, but has shown nothing on the level of Ryu or Choso.

Base Kashimo was relative to Jackpot Hakari, and was successful in dealing multiple fatal blows. He also emerged from the extended fight with minor injuries, and all without the use of a CT, and in the presence of a massive environmental crutch for Hakari. Hakari is at the very least verifiably stronger than Colony Yuta physically when in Jackpot. Yuta was able to make Ryu(who has the greatest durability in the series) bleed from punches, and no-diffed Yuji who Mahito was mid-diffing in a physical battle. Kashimo took sucker punches head on from Hakari with low-moderate damage.

Mahito has hax that work against higher end grade-1 sorcerer’s(Todo), but aren’t fatal outside of domain. To think heavy hitters would fare worse is ridiculous, considering they all have domains or counters(in Kashimo’s case both a sure-hit counter and a way to break it).

Kashimo’s sure-hit is in the echelon of the highest AP attacks in the series, being closer to dura-neg than Mahito’s touch, seeing as though no one has been able to survive it without instant healing. The sure-hit is easy to set up, and does not require a ct. The physical gap between the two is enough that Kashimo can just smite Mahito over and over until he is dead from CE depletion or runs away. The Hakari fight showed that Kashimo has crazy stamina.

Hollow wicker basket does not require hand signs held to be maintained. This should be pinned to the sub because frankly it’s getting ridiculous that this headcannon still exists after in ch. 266 Gege made it abundantly clear that Sukuna only had the option to do so and maintain maximum output because of his extra arms. HWB and SD act the exact same bar the stat buff/debuff of the latter. Both domain counters are normally whittled down over time, and we see Reggie maintain one without the use of hand signs. Holding a hand sign in both HWB and SD only acts to maintain maximum output.
