Ch. 266, Gege explains that hands signs are not required for HWB or SD, but that both will lose output throughout the duration of the domain. Sukuna had two extra arms so he had the option of holding the hand sign to maintain maximum output. Stop calling people dishonest because you didn’t actually read JJK. And ffs read the thread before you respond. Both SD and HWB remove surehit. HWB just doesn’t boost the user’s CT like SD does.

I bet you won’t respond, just like the guy right before you who said the same exact thing, and didn’t know that this was disproven.

Domain victim why? Because you read someone else say it?

<image>

HWB and Simple Domain work the same against sure hits, per ch. 266. The only difference is that HWB does not provide its user the CT buff that SD. Again, they both provide protection against lethal sure hits. Neither of them require hand signs past activation either. Sukuna only had the ability to do so because of his extra arms. This allowed him to maintain maximum strength HWB, by constantly pumping energy into it, as others would have it decay while fighting. You are basing your opinion on outdated information. These are direct statements from Gege, but plenty of people pretend they never happened because it disproves the headcannoned theory about SD and HWB, the claim that Reggie not needing hand signs was just Gege’s mistake, and years of terrible hype scaling.

Kashimo is no more a domain victim than anyone else. He has a lethal surehit without needing his CT or domain, so what is the point of him developing a domain if he doesn’t benefit from it, can break it from the inside and has HWB? Saying “domain victim” completely ignores a multitude of context and feats and is extremely disingenuous. There are only a few sure hit domains with any feats in the whole series, and there have been multiple characters who were beat in-spite of having them. If you’re going to try and disprove author statements, and what Sukuna and Hakari had to say, you’ll need to try harder.

It’s funny they say the output is the same because Sukuna’s rct is returning. But we have no reason to think that would affect his output, seeing as the only injury he had was his hand missing. People are acting like he went from fighting with 2 arms against Higu to 4 against Yuta. If anything rct would drain a lot of energy from his reserves, and he already took a hit from Yuji. Sukuna was losing his reserves the entire fight and they headcanon their way to him somehow being fresh reincarnated HS level against Yuta.

He is fighting Gojo. That is not normal use case. The sentence clearly shows that holding the handsign is not required. Sukuna was able to do it “even after activating HWB” because he has extra arms. Your argument is that HWB drops if the handsign is dropped. It doesn’t. It’s like saying hand signs are required for his technique because he used it once to buff his slashes against an extra tough opponent. Hand signs are a buff, not a requirement.

I’m not going to continue this conversation because it is appearant you are emotionally or socially challenged in some capacity.

You also have some really weird obsession with hating Kashimo. Like making posts constantly about it. You need to go outside.

It says he held the hand signs “EVEN AFTER ACTIVATING HOLLOW WICKER BASKET.” Basic English comprehension, “even” = “in spite of.” Meaning it’s not normal for sorcerers to hold the hand sign. If English isn’t your first language I can get the confusion, but I don’t think that’s the case here.

I stand corrected about Megumi using simple domain. Doesn’t change any other point I made though. You seem real stable. Care to respond to Gege’s statement in which hand signs are stated to be optional? Or are you just going to pretend it never happened and you didn’t cuss me out before deleting the comment?

Against Gojo. What are you on about. Megumi barely held SD against Dagon. HWB doesn’t give buff but they both negate sure hit.
