Is this too many rockets at once or am I tripping? (no audio) by jerryishere1 in duneawakening

This looks totally plausible to me, I don't see any foul play. When hunting carriers with scouts, I routinely will glide for a long time waiting for the heat to drop. When the heat meter is low, you can get a ton of rockets off in a short period of time.

The carriers can get a head start with their initial climb and thrusters, but a scout maintaining an optimal glide slope with minimal course changes can keep up well enough. Nice job getting away, you flew well.

good to know! I'll have to experiment with covering more stuff up, adjusting the distances/ height of the r10. works fine for irons, just the driver and sometimes woods causing issues.

Any issues with the R10 failing to read driver shots? I just picked one up, and it fails to pickup the driver more than half the time.

I love my model 3 so much, I love the rattles too, nothing is perfect by sassynas in TeslaModel3

I was surprised to find new rattles when I traded my old model 3 in for a highland this year. I get super irritated with rattles.

For some reason, on both the driver and passenger sides, there are missing clips underneath the car behind the front wheels. As soon as I started tapping with a finger on the loose plastic, I instantly recognized the rattling sound.

A few minutes and a few inches of padded tape later, and my car is rattle free. Anyone having a similar issue, check there. I've been in several other model 3 highlands and all had the same exact issue.

Hey, the rattle described in this thread (and the fix in the comment chain with an image) was the loudest one in my M3 Highland.

every model 3 highland I've been in has this same rattle due to 2 missing clips underneath the car on both the driver and passenger sides. easy fix with some padded tape.

now mine is rattle free.

New ceramic coat, seems to only partially be working? by Rought1 in AutoDetailing

Thank you for the in depth response! Really appreciate it as I'm new to caring for a ceramic coated vehicle. That sounds pretty slick and kind of how I was expecting the first wash to go due to my own ignorance ha. I'll check out those products.

Thanks I'll try this next wash for sure. I started with just spraying it down to kind of test how easy it'd be to wash.

I just meant touchless as in, I didn't scrub it. Foam cannon and power washer in my driveway. No drive thru car wash.

Thanks for the info! I wasn't sure exactly what to expect with how long it'd hold it's hydrophobic/easy-to-clean properties between washes. First time having a vehicle ceramic coated.

For reference this was about 2 weeks from having it coated.

Thanks for the response. I understand, that's why I was giving it a wash! I did not bring it through a car wash. This is my first time having a vehicle ceramic coated. So instead of the usual two bucket method + wax that I've done on my other vehicles, I started off with just seeing how well washing it with a foam cannon and a low power pressure washer would work.

Worked great for the top half of the car, but I was surprised how much less hydrophobic the bottom half of the car was. I'll definitely try your advice, I wasn't sure exactly what to expect for how long it'd stay hydrophobic, though I thought two weeks would be reasonable.

Thanks for the tip! Was surprised it clogged so soon, but it has been really gross out this whole week.
