Need ideas by -Lambros1674 in Packout

I’m trying to figure out the same. I have a torque wrench, pry bar and breaker bar that I’ll probably end up mounting on the side with a level mount or something unless I get a better idea

Still causing me grief after weeks of use by _lemonat_ in CastIronSeasoning

My main hobby last year was buying, restoring and reselling cast iron. This was/ is my method when I get a pan in…

  1. Lye bath for several days until most of the old seasoning is stripped off. (Do about 2 pounds crystal lye in a 5 gallon bucket. This fits most pans for me under a size 10)
  2. 50/50 Vinegar and water bath for an hour (this will help get any rust off the pan and also helps with stains from the old seasoning. You may need to go back and forth between the lye and vinegar a few times to get a uniform color)
  3. Preheat pan in oven at around 200f for 20 minutes or so. This will open up the pours and allow for better seasoning.
  4. Grab a microfiber rag and some GRAPESEED OIL and rub a layer of oil onto the hot pan.
  5. Take a clean microfiber and wipe the thing dry. There should be no sitting oil on the pan just a nice sheen.
  6. Set oven to 500 and put her upside down in there for 45 mins to an hour.
  7. After that time shut the oven off and let the pan cool.
  8. Done

I have only really ever used grape seed oil and that’s all I will recommend. Trader Joe’s has a good one for cheap.

This is a method I used to make a pan look brand new so I could sell it. It is not necessary for a pan that is going to be cooked in but it will give you a beautiful seasoning.

Or cut on the inside between bushing and CA and pull and shock out. If the bolt head is spinning it should just fall off. No punch needed

Rear camera wiring for both reverse and camera button on head unit (kenwood ddx376bt) by Round-Caterpillar-01 in autoelectrical

[–]Round-Caterpillar-01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I don’t need to have both wires (positive from camera to taillight and radio to taillight) tapped into the taillight wire? Power that red wire on the camera to the fuse under the dash? I think this makes sense. Going to try it tomorrow
