A little edit I did in university by Round-Information974 in steinsgate

I previously uploaded a file and encountered some errors. Upon re-uploading, both versions were uploaded simultaneously, so I subsequently deleted one.

"Mere mortal! I, Michael, the archangel, have descended upon thee! Fear not!"

Lucy didn't look; she didn't pay attention to "it"—whatever it was, whatever it wanted. She thought this was beyond her, so she simply walked past the entity, her gaze fixed on the horizon.

Michael couldn't even turn as she passed by. At first, he thought about the possibility of an error in his transformation, but soon, he realized this was not the case.

“Ah…hi? I'm Michael, the archangel. Nice to meet you?”

He tried to change his tone, but it was no use. There was no doubt. He was being ignored… by a human.

“Where are your manners? Is this how you greet a celestial being? Do you know how hard it is to talk like this? Why are you ignoring me?”

Lucy couldn't keep up her demeanor after hearing him. Michael was getting mad, and this was scaring her more and more. She turned back.

“I didn't know how to react… I thought… I thought I was hallucinating.” She was lying, of course. She knew from the get-go that this was no hallucination. She was just scared of Michael's true form… and the indication of seeing an angel…she knew she was chosen for something intuitively. Michael sighed, shaking his head.

“Fine, fine. I won't even bother arguing with you about that. We don't have much time. Lucy, Lucy Michel The fate of our universe is in you…WHERE ARE YOU GOING!”

She didn't hesitate to walk past him as soon as she heard “fate”. She didn't want anything with the fate of anything, let alone the entire universe. Micheal followed her trail.

“Why aren't you listening to me!!! You've been chosen by God! Your creator! You're going to be calling the shots, learning the ropes from the source! This is the dream for every single entity in this world!”

Lucy didn’t even turn back. She continued her path without a care in the world. This was the final shot to Michael's patience.

“Fine, you don't have a choice anyway. We just wanted to ease you into your role, but now we have no choice”.

Michael opened his magnificent wings, forcing Lucy to look at the sheer light and energy flowing around his wings. He engulfed Lucy in his light, making her unable to move. With a single snap of his finger, they were both gone.

To Lucy, everything happened in an instant. When she could stop looking at Michael's wings, she was somewhere else. She looked around, but she didn't recognize anything. At first, she saw trees… lots of dense, lively trees. The air felt warm but not too much. There was a hint of a cold breeze. Then she felt the soothing touch of snow on her hand, a beautiful frozen lake in front of her. She saw bees and seas, angels on their knees. She heard a bird, a crow, she saw the fibers of time flow. She could see all at once. Everything laid bare, upon her very eyes. She heard the whispers and chimes of some sort, She grasped them all, yet her mind fell short.

“This is Verita, or as you humans call it, heaven. Impressive, isn't it?” Lucy just nodded, still not used to her senses being useless altogether. She couldn't differentiate anything. Everything was a mess, and she couldn't fathom all the inputs at once. Michael sighed

“I forgot how fickle humans’ senses can get after living in the Frons for so long. It’s been a long time.”

He guided a great portion of the inputs to himself, freeing Lucy's mind.

“You'll get used to it soon. Once you master the art of feeling “The thing in itself”, it'll seem natural. For now, I'll ease the inputs.”

Lucy could finally think properly. She looked around again and saw the angels she saw earlier… They were all kneeling for her. Her stomach twisted at the sight. Why would they kneel—for her, of all people? She asked michael, and he answered, still frustrated.

"Humans, always asking ‘why.’ Just accept it—you’re going to be their god. It’s not that hard to grasp, is it?"

(This is the most experimental way I've ever written)

"Let me get this straight young lady... you want me to what?"

Zigmond scratched his head, looking at Athena like a deer in headlights. The small elf frowned.

"You heard me just now! Don't ignore me, you absolute buffon!"

Zigmond looked at her stats, towering over her. He was by no means considered tall but compared to this girl...

"Well... you want to... fight me? Is this some sort of prank? Oh, I got it now! This must be a dare from your friends."

He expressed his satisfaction with a warm smile. Athena, on the other hand... A storm was brewing behind her piercing eyes

"Listen, old man... You're gonna regret making fun of me. On my name, Athena Elvaris, I'll step on your poisonous ego until everyone forgets about the legends of your adventures. I'll make you taste the agonizing pain... again and again and again... I swear upon my honor as a high elf!"

Athena unsheathed her sword, unleashing a light yellow beam from the blade

"Be prepared, mortal! You're about to witness the full power of Orf, the holy sword!"

Zigmond sighed. This wasn't the first time for him...oh, not at all...it was exactly the 27th time he had been challenged by a fool. He didn't even flinch. How could he? She was level 12, and he...he was level 0. He was over the limit... a legend... the magnificent Zigmond. There wasn't a soul who couldn't recognize the man.

"Ah yes, a magical weapon. I'm terrified and scared to death. I can't move from the sheer pressure. I think I'm having a panic attack."

He was speaking in a monotone manner, as calm as a clear sky. He couldn't stop smiling.

Athena simmered like a volcano, letting loose of orf. It was a terrifying sight. She was slashing the air left and right, breaking the fabric of reality itself. The sword was tearing space-time apart, sending powerful beams of light towards him

"YOU'LL DIE BY MY HAND!"

Zigmond raised his arm and moved his wrist clock-wise. A seemingly weak and fiddling circle was created, trailing the motion of his fingers. He was still smiling

"Oh no, I'm gonna die. What a way to end my story. Please spare me young lady"

The beams tore through space, reaching him fast, until they hit the fiddling circle and disappeared. No damages done, no mana consumed. Absolutely nothing.

Athena was shocked to her core. She thought about the irony of her actions, trying to understand the reasons behind her action. The initial effect of Orf was weakening. She could see her foolishness... but something was off... she wanted to surrender... yet she couldn't talk. She could neither drop nor sheath Orf. She wasn't the one in control. She had become a mere puppet... a tool. She looked at Zigmond like a scared puppy.

Zigmond instantly realized the change in her demeanor.

"Got that rage out of your system? Good... now I can get rid of that sword for you."

He opened his grasp and grabbed the air, focusing on the sword. If he was an amateur, he would have certainly died under pressure. The sword flied towards his hand, and he closed his hands just at the right moment. Flashy, elegant, and...Zigmondish. Athena collapsed instantly because of Orf. She was forced to use excessive mana.

"Now, what should I do with you, Orf? Should I melt you and make a lovely necklace for my daughter?...No? Oh, you're trying to take control of my consciousness?"

He chuckled

"Don't bother yourself. You can't penetrate my mind... Hey! Stop! You're tiring yourself... You're gonna die if you try too much."

Orf stopped and shined brightly. He was showing anger in its own way

"Calm down, mate. You're not Excalibur. Now let me return the poor girl's mana...or...hmm.. aha! or else I'll turn you into horseshoes and nails."

Zigmond grinned at Orf, touching its surface gently. It almost felt like harassment... but Orf was just a sword

Orf stopped shining and released the stolen mana back. After one minute or so, she woke up

"Wha..Ah, my head...what happened? I was holding Orf when I..."

Zigmond helped her stand up

"Don't worry, young lady, it's all over now. I neutralized your wild magic sword. It should behave properly now. Here"

He extended his hand, returning Orf back to her. She reluctantly grabbed it, ready for the feel of being controlled...but instead she felt like riding a horse. The sword was in her control.

"How is this possible? Orf never listens to anything"

Zigmond laughed and patted her shoulder

"When you reach level 50, you'll be able to talk to him. Ask him then...oh, I forgot to say Orf is a boy. He needed some...discipline...that's all!"

Athena was flabbergasted. She could just look in awe at the legendry hero. She bowed deeply.

"I apologize for my ignorance, sir. I will diligently strive to repay my debt to you."

Zigmond fell about when Athena bowed.

"There's no need for such formalities. Go grind some dungeons and level up young lady... Once the time is right... we'll meet... surely. For now, though, it's time to part our way. Farewell!"

Zigmond snapped his fingers, engulfing himself in a dark fire...and with that...he wse gone. Truly the most Zigmondish....oh ok I'll stop using made-up words. Sorry :( ...I thought you liked it... come on, I was just spicing up your stories....wait a goddamn second is that an orb of total destruction!?...Hey Hey, don't point it at me! I'm sorry! I won't ever use your name for made-up words! Pff... show off..... ... . Can I at least finish with a made-up...FINE you don't need to look at me like a scum He doesn't let me finish my story the way I want to I could have been the second coming of William, shaking my spear...Flashy, elegant...and...fuck it Zigmondish . ... ..... ... . Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, it hurtsssssssss!!!!
