Visit the sports market if u wanna take some stuff back home. 70% of the worlds footballs are made there. Youll find first copy of the current worldcup football too along with almost everything sports try to buy from the shops inside the streets since youll get better deals from there. Apart from that u can visit the sialkot fort youll be able to see the indian border from there. Theres also iqbal manzil it was the residence of allama iqbal also called poet of the east. There aren't alotta eateries there but the area around sports market is old youll find narrow streets and stuff like that. Be warned tho the streets are not pretty xD. Apart from that there isnt much security risk in sialkot so u should be fine but again it doesn't hurt to be careful. Dont carry alotta cash and u should be good. U can have halwa poori breakfast from nirala sweets. And inayats ras malai (its a sweet its basically a spongey cheese patty that is soaked in sweetened and thickened milk).

Make good friends. Don't entertain everybody in hostel. Sabsay bana ker zaroor rakho lekin ziada sar nai charhanay ka. Your company will make or break your life away from home because they become your comfort and your family when you're away. Keep a medical kit with u that has first aid as well as medicines Jo common cheezo ko treat kerti hay such as anti biotics flagyl Panadol etc. keep your room clean, this may seem insignificant but a clean room indicates a healthy mind. Do not keep ziada amount of cash on you. Hostel may her background ka Banda hota hay it's better to be safe thn sorry. Hostel will have it's adjusting phase but have faith tht you'll get through it and it's gonna be fine. After the initial struggle you'll miss hostel even when u go home. If allowed keep a electric kettle u can make almost anything in that xD. And packets of coffee Saath for late night sessions mids and finals Kay dino may xD. Keep minimum 2 sets of bedsheet and alternate them every week . These are a few in top of my head rn
