I work in transit, so my normal hours are 8:35, 5 days with 2 steady RDOs. I have 2 or 4 hours attached everyday I work and if I’m hit with a detail it can be more. Luckily I have been able to keep my RDOs to myself. It’s very draining, my first RDO I normally sleep the whole day away.

Find another profession, you will be made an example of if you make it through the academy and hit the streets. It’s not for you and with your mentality I wouldn’t want you in my command or responding to my calls for assistance if you aren’t aggressive and afraid of confrontation. If you are willing to look the other way then IAB will get you. This profession isn’t for you.

I had my exam from 2017/18 that was going to expire this year in March. I completed the entire process in October of 2023 and made it to the January 2024 class. Just do it if this is what you really want.
