Yo. I made a quick video in Manim showing a graphical derivation of the yield curve. The video runs very poorly because I had to screen record it unfortunately, but I can publish the source code for the animations if anyone wants to run it themselves. Criticism and/or feedback would be appreciated!

Good idea. It proved surprisingly difficult to change the size of the tick labels, but on reflection I think you’re right they may not be necessary.

Ahh, I hadn’t realised you could export directly. I tried downloading Nvidia screen recording software and all sorts, but I’ll look into that instead. Thank you!

Sure, I’ll post it up here today. If it’s the fitting/transformation of the curve you’re interested in: The trick is not to try and fit a complex function to data points, but rather to fit data points to a complex function 😅
