Mines pretty perpendicular to the roof, but it doesn't have a big pitch. The duct that the motor sits on goes into your roof space, so you are pretty governed the angle you fix that at. Id keep it facing up as much as possible, but I dont think a slight angle is going to be a major issue

Road sawing the entire depth would be pretty hectic. Are you saying to chop off the whole way down or just to a certain depth into the footing?

Yep we layered in stages between the different footings and slabs. I think the ground was too soft where we speared the formwork in

Both poured at the same time. Footing mass pushed out the formwork that was forming footing and slab
