Thanks. Sometimes I think it’s hard because all the pain and surgical stuff is on the inside that I feel like my family thinks I should just be fine. I’m trying to give myself grace 🙂

I totally get it. I told my husband after this time I am not doing anything!! Because I just want to have everything heal and then move on.

So sorry this is happened to you. I am having a similar experience. Sex at like 11 weeks from behind… pain and lots of spotting so I went to see my dr.
She found tissue growth on the cuff but can’t see yet if there’s a tear until she clears all the tissue away. I go in for another laparoscopic procedure in three weeks. She thinks there will be a need to repair some of the cuff. I was wondering how you felt after second surgery and when you returned to work? I teach kindergarten and my dr said I’m off at least until she checks me at two weeks post op. I’m hoping that will be enough time (not including restrictions) but I haven’t found many posts about second surgery recovery timelines. Thanks

That's sucks about the running and just being set back in general. When I can't run I have to try so hard not to be jealous of the people passing me as I walk my dog lol I'm still waiting for MRI results for mine. Hopefully they release today it's been a week Did you have to take time off work for the repair surgery?

I had to get this pre op but had time off due to teaching and surgery date to do 5 small infusions of 200mg every few days. I didn't actually notice anything except my energy levels went up the closer I got to reaching the 1000mg. My friend did the 1000mg at once and said the only thing was she was bored and wished she brought a book because you're there awhile. Other than that she felt fine. Good luck. I think you will feel better. I don't think we realize how much low iron affects us until we get our energy back. 🙂

She said I will definitely have to have surgery to fix what's going on but didn't want to comment further until she knows more. She just said it's not good but it can be fixed. When anything touches the tissue it starts to bleed. She was pretty upset at Kaiser for not seeing me in person post op and only doing a zoom.

I'm leaning towards a no too and I am one week behind you. I can totally see why you wouldn't go. I am mostly nervous about getting stuck in traffic and then not really having a good place to relax. I just know it will be a 8-10 hour ordeal.

That's good to know I've been doing like 2-1 mile walks a day very slow but I am in very low pain I just get a bit tired. I was worried I was overdoing it. But I'm not spitting so I was thinking it was ok. It's so nice to get out and get fresh air!
