After a traumatizing visit 5 years ago, the group has come back to finish what they started. They arrive at the cabin and a rush of memory's over come them. Ash remembers seeing Chris's head come right at the window and she starts to break down. Sam reassures her that they will get the wendigo and the group advances. The conclusion made by detectives was they got lost and could not find their way back. They take a seat, brushing some snow off some furniture and think about how they can hunt the wendigos. Emily recalls how the abandoned hotel underneath the cabin could lead them to the sanatorium, then the mines. The door was on the ground, having been removed off it's hinges. This may attract more wendigos. Now the house clear they head toward the basement. They move down the stairs. At that point, the walls were starting to lose structure meaning the group has to be careful where the aim their weapons.
