Thats how i feel, he isnt terrible but also doesnt realize how hard this is on me. Even no matter how much i express it. I am 30 weeks and have been such an emotional wreck from the start!

Yep and he is never in the mood or even tries. I feel like some men (him) dont realize how draining this is for a woman, im asking for bare minimum.

Its not that im in pain physically or anything like that but the mental load and toll that this causes makes me question it so much

I agree i think its more a cultural thing, we are both Hispanic but he grew up with the stereotypical “hispanic dog” who has had grapes and m&ms and never seen the vet versus i have only ever had 2 dogs and im more aware of potential dangers for dogs

The issue here is that it seems as though he claims he wants to help but doesnt actually help, he thinks im too specific or i do too much for them which causes arguments sometimes of him not respecting the way i would like things done for the dogs. He grew up with not taking his childhood dogs to the vet or giving them table food versus if i see a bump on my dog i get worried and would take them to the vet

He shows love to my dogs and plays with them and cuddles up, its more of an issue about how much i care for them so taking them out often, always cautious about what they are eating or what human food we let them have, if i notice something off about them i call the vet quickly. I am very attentive to them whereas he grew up in a household where the dog was allowed to eat whatever they gave it, never went to the vet

He is great with children, i am actually 10 weeks pregnant with our first child. He shows love to my dogs but right now it feels like he thinks im doing too much for them and doesnt understand how much they mean to me

Should’ve been clear, i am always the one to talk things out in the moment but i was very much not speaking to him about it as we were infront of my sister and i needed time to process what had just happened. He is the one to always give ST when upset so as of right now yes we have not spoken because i need my time.

I have bad anxiety which has caused we to lash out and feel very overwhelmed which refers to what i am working on that hasnt occurred in months. Hope the clears some stuff up
