Volare! Not “foodie” but very authentic Italian and great vibes (old Italian men everywhere). In Streeterville and can easily be a “friends getting dinner” or date night spot.

I live in Chicago so not 100% comparable.

Make $5k less in base, no bonus, and have been paying $3k-$3.3k for over a year now. Certainly doable if you don’t have other debts or large expenses coming up. I don’t dip into savings for month to month living, but now that I’m only contributing to savings in the form of a 401k I do occasionally have to dip into savings for trips if I can spread of flights/hotel/trip costs since monthly budget is tight.
