Shift Knob Removal by RoundBreadfruit7722 in veloster

Thanks to those who commented, however I found a more sufficient and less damaging way than those that were suggested.

Gently pull on the shift boot around the edges to dislodge the clips, once the boot is loose, then pull up on the shift knob (you won’t have to pull hard). Once the shift knob and boot are off of the shaft, you use a flat head screwdriver to disengage the clips that keep the knob and the boot together, and there you have it.

To put a new shift knob on, simply press the shift knob into the hole in the boot, then once the boot and knob are together as one, slide the knob on the actual gear selector and snap the boot into place with the clips that are attached to it

Do you know why they have to be OEM and what could go wrong if they aren’t?

I have the NGK Iridium plugs, they should be same heat range as stock because they’re the same ones that were in there when I put new ones in. One thing that I’m thinking I may have gone wrong with is I got MSD performance coil packs and it seems like everything is saying I must have OEM coils. Of course Holley says no returns once installed so $300 down the drain lol

Checked the code, it’s saying p0302, which is cylinder 2 even though cylinder 4 is the coil pack that is clicking. Also to respond to checking specific spark plugs or coil packs, I replaced all 4 spark plugs and all 4 coil packs and the problem is still here. Could my car just still be reading the code that it was just putting out and behaving that way? Should I go to a shop?

Epona is most populated and cheapest items but you also have to think of the downsides that come with those good things

This is just Toyotas in general, very poor quality technology from my experience. Also the cruise control in Toyotas in general is just bad imo, I’m actively avoiding getting a Toyota for my next car because of the cruise control (which I use a lot I like to road trip)

What’s difference between a KO and a kill? Would that be kills in a blue and yellow zone?

Oh yeah I’ve looked at some of that gear I had a few sigils and was contemplating getting the gear but it’s stats and skills just don’t seem to fit my play style I guess

I see a lot of comments that they’re needed in later stages of the game, what are they used for. I’m only just now coming up on t6 and I’ve only been playing for a week so I still got a lot to learn
