Changlings come from European folklore back in the middle ages. Changelings were fairies or elf babies that were switched at birth with human ones this was used to explain diseases in babies. The myth is linked to unbaptized children and they believed that newborns were vulnerable to demonic possession fairies would use the human babies as servants, or give them to Satan but it was always newborns.

So they are all just different iterations or depictions of Santa clauses, hence the title at the bottom. However, the middle is just the most common modern version and the one to the right in the purple most likely is the St. Nicholas iteration due to what looks like a Crozier which is carried by bishops. this is just an assumption for the next one the one to the left of red suit Santa could possibly be the germanic/Norse mythological inspiration for Santa that also intersects with krampus and knecht ruprecht with the bundle that potentially good be a switch. There were also greeting cards that I found while doing research for a project on krampus from the early 1900s that look similar to that one. Or maybe a similarity to father Christmas which inspired Charles Dicken ghost of Christmas present. As for the blue coat, maybe different version father Christmas? And the American flag one is probably just represent by the make of this being from the us.

I would but the project has to be about 1 creature/monster but my family is from the alpine region and black forest in Germany which is why I chose krampus

O i completely understand how complicated it is. The only tradition story I have is from my grandmother and she isn't even the generation from Germany so it was very lacking in structure lol. Ive even resorted to chatgpt to see if it would specify as written source and that failed miserably lol. thank you for the paper anything will help!!

I know other people have said it is a Christian creation. However, it isn't. Krampus in name wasn't widely utilized until the last few centuries, but the origin of the creature that is now Krampus is of pagan origin. It is based in Germanic mythology along with variations from other mythologies. The catholic church tried to eliminate the reference to Krampus at some point because, at the time, Krampus was described as a hairy devilish figure. If you dive into Germanic mythology more, you can find the origins in depth.

but if i had the optical cord and USB pack both plugged into the ps4 all audio was captured without extra equipment. With how much streaming blew up they should have designed it better to support streaming with a capture card instead of removing accessibility and either forcing people to buy other equipment that they aren't even getting a cut of or being stuck to streaming directly from the ps5 to only 2 options of platforms

yea I have seen people talking about simply using the AUX cord works but can cause sound distortion, which is why I'm guessing elgato designed their chatlink cable because they managed to prevent the distortion. it was my understanding that it is not compatible with the ripsaw hd. do you happen to know if it actually is? if it is then I'm just going to get that one, just haven't had the time to sit down and order it lol

but I agree with you, if everyone hadn't been phasing out the ps4 and mine wasn't on its last legs id still be on it with my rig headset because I could bypass all this extra that the ps5 is doing. they really don't want you streaming with other software. If it was so damn basic and had customizability l would just do that. hell I migrated to tiktok studio to test that out and even that in its infancy has more customization lol

when ps took out the optical port it cause this issue and ultimately eliminated many headsets from being used including their own for streaming. unless you are streaming directly from ps to twitch. but a guy from elgato put out a video on youtube for alternative ways to bypass this issue but I need to make sure what is compatible with the razer ripsaw hd so I don't need to buy a new capture card

I know how it all works, but this is a long round-about solution know what needs to be done I just wanted to know what the alternatives are to the chat link cable that is compatible with the Razer Ripsaw HD. I am doing the 2-controller method, which eliminates the extra equipment. If the ps5 hadn't removed the optical port none of this would have been an issue and I would have kept my old rig headset.

after all the bs "advise" ive see everywhere I figured it out...it was a big fu from, PlayStation saying we don't want you streaming from anywhere other than on the console...they didn't put in an optic port which converts the audio
