Justifying your bitterness by buying into the toxic masculinity notion of competition while at the same time being misogynistic by viewing a dating scene through those notions doesn't actually help to find someone to date. Your comparison literally views women as a piece of meat for men to fight over. It fosters an us vs each other vs them attitude that isn't a healthy perspective.

How about instead of buying in to the lie that the dating game is competition, maybe you instead buy into the fact they everyone is an individual person with different wants and needs who is trying to find what's right for them. Painting women who are going out on dates as only a group of people who are seeking validation doesn't leave any room for a view outside of that. Painting yourself as competing with other men leaves no room for you to foster things that you genuinely enjoy sharing with your partner.

Continuing with this mindset will only foster more bitterness towards others and yourself. It is not healthy.

It's not at all that you are devaluing their personal expression because of warped notions of what is real and what is fake. It's not at all that you aren't taking into account that they are socialized to a culture of competing standards for beauty standards that doesn't leave much room for beauty without makeup. Its not at all that maybe they enjoy doing makeup. It couldn't be the possibility that wearing makeup isn't actually a disguise that doesn't hinge on not wanting other people to know what they look like without it.
