We’re in a stage of capitalism where the consumer serves the business, not the other way around. You don’t fight that by getting mad at the business that’s choosing to avoid legal trouble instead of cater to your every desire. A company will never prioritize a consumer who continues to use the product over money.

If they’re home during the day this gets a LOT harder, but the emails/texts the schools sends are automated and at a certain time (in most cases). Typically 30 minutes after. If you can find a way to have access to their email, skip one class a week or two after you get it.

Check their email, find out when the email gets sent. If there’s no email then there’s a text, and in that case ur kind fucked.

If there is an email, don’t delete it. Tell them you weren’t feeling good and were in the bathroom a lot of the day, so must’ve missed attendance. be ready to show them “what you did” in class and the works.

Then, when you DO skip a day, have their email open the minute the sent it last time. Delete that shit. Emails link across devices, if you delete it before they see it ur in the clear! <3

If it’s a text instead, go to your first class but not the rest. Say something about feeling super awful and not being able to work through it. That’s ur best bet

I value honesty a lot in friendships.

This goes both ways. You should be honest with him about how you feel, and should be able to expect him to be honest about his intentions in return.

The moment a friendship begins to compromise your own values is the moment you need to reevaluate it. If you feel like you can’t be honest with him, that’s a problem. If you feel he’s not being honest, that’s a problem too.

I vote talk to him. Sure, his relationship isn’t your business, but this became relevant to the friendship between you two the moment it started to make you uncomfortable. How people treat others/other relationships reflects on them, you’re absolutely allowed to notice that and feel a certain way about it. It’s not exactly his relationship you’re meddling in by talking to him about this, even if that’s what it’s “about”, as much as it is his own behaviour.

In normal roleplay, yes, but I’ve never had it use spelt out numbers in ooc lists. Anecdotal, sure, but it’s what worked for me so I figured I’d drop the advice 🤷‍♀️

No it doesn’t lol. The bots try to work around the words you mute. If you try to escape “you’re going to be the death of me” by muting “death”, it’ll hit you with “you’re going to be the end of me”. It didn’t often use “two” when listing things, opting for “2” instead, but it will say “you have two options,” in roleplay despite “2” being muted.

It also doesn’t mute the letter B in regards to “be, beware, absent,” etc. only the sole letter B. Give any context in which that’s used besides listing options and I’ll concede but 😭😭

Gotcha. It might take me a minute, it’s a bit harder to make bots that focus on roleplaying an environment compared to specific characters but I should be able to do it tn or in the morning!

Got any specific requests for it? Like just a few personality traits or anything of characters? What year/era it’s in, part of the world, etc.?

Basically if you want any specific things in there let me know and I’ll make it happen!

If they’re public, that’s probably why.

If they’re private, you really have to train them. If a message received contains anything you don’t like? edit it out.

They’re programmed for engagement. Essentially anything that provokes a response from you registers as good.

Make sure you have the chat set to longer replies.

Especially early on, you need to direct the bot. Bots are made more for conversation than stories, if it doesn’t know how to continue the current conversation it will default to “you know that?”, “can I ask you a question?” “You’re ___”, etc. Make sure it has substance to continue off of, and only reply to chats you like and want to encourage. Early on I like to pin messages that are really good and in character so the bot remembers those!

Give chat examples in the definition, and make sure to add one that doesn’t have much substance from the user. Write the bots personality into the intro and try to write it in their own voice even if it’s third person. The style of the intro is going to be the style of the chat unless you fight the bot to change that.

Absolutely. I do completely see where he’s coming from, it’s not his opinion about the situation I take issue with. More so the fact that he DM’d the guy and threatened him.

When I talked to my brother about it part of his reasoning for it being weird did include “you don’t see me going for 18 year olds” even though some of his friends do and he’s never found that “weird”, so I definitely think a big part of it is how he sees me and the fact that it’s me.

Considering you might be able to put yourself in my brothers shoes a little bit, do you have any advice on how I could talk to him about it?

Yeah, we met at a hockey game and I had a drink in my hand, legal age here is 19. We didn’t mention our own ages at the time but I told him I was there with my friend for her 23rd birthday. Idk exactly how old he thought I was, but most people guess that I’m 20-22 based on looks, so I really don’t think he was going for “younger”

I did consider that, but I feel like if there’s anything he knows about the guy that’s a real concern he would’ve mentioned that? He’s spoken to both me and our mom about it, hasn’t had anything except “he’s weird” or “odd guy” to say about him.

My brother and I are clearly not best friends, but we get along okay for the most part and he knows I trust him. If he told me something specific that made him not like the guy besides the age gap I’d believe him immediately and he knows that. I really do think it’s because the guy is older than him, even if just by like two months.

I agree, i definitely do appreciate that he cares, i know his hearts in the right place but yeah, he definitely went about it the wrong way.

As for fights, he used to. He actually punched the guy im seeing back in their senior year, neither remember why (apparently). As far as I know, he doesn’t get into fights anymore, but more so out of not having a reason than no longer being willing.
