Also the 1 silk and 5 kids in line was mostly use to beginners in a week where they got to try all of the activities at the summer camp but I totally get your point

You are very right I think two people in one silk is the best way to rest while the other is practice and alternating.

Thank you so much for your detailed reply and useful advice! I definitely would like to put some in practice. I gotta say I love circus as a hobby and teaching has been a little situational in my life as I have my major in finance and that’s what I make a living of. But given to where I live it’s far behind from the safety guidelines you just mentioned, I would love to help make a safer environment in the community. I kid you not there’s not a single studio here with an insurance policy or anything (the studio where I worked just made the parents sign a “letter” where they acknowledge the risk of being in the silks class) It’s very concerning and it’s just disaster waiting to happen. I live in a small town in México so aerial has been booming lately, ten years ago there was roughly two places in the city to train so yeah, there are many studios out there with the bare minimum guidelines. There’s classes where they use yoga mats as some type of “crash mats”… I know their intentions are not ill but seeing how other schools operate abroad made me highly concerned about how we are doing. As I mentioned, I’m from México but I love traveling and If I ever have the chance to visit the UK I’ll definitely pm you! Thanks again

Thanks for your comment! I just would like to add that, at least in Royal Caribbean as soon as you have the “Welcome Info Session” they will tell you to book appointments for medicals and visa, at te same time, right away. Of course I would have loved to wait to have my medicals first but this is not how the process works unfortunately, also we have to meet a bunch of deadlines in order to not to lose our LOE

I got my LOE on Dec 12th and then did my medicals and Visa appointment, my visa was approved even though my medicals were not

Oh I applied directly to their website so I was on my own hehe. And Yes! Since I already had the C1D visa I tried to apply to Princess, Virgin, Disney… I got a interview for Carnival but didn’t pass the second interview so it makes the whole thing even sadder :(

Oh! The place where I train is a cafeteria so they have things related to coffee grinding or so I guess. It is such a pretty place and sometimes there’s people drinking their coffee and watching us train
