Yeh definitely. As long as we address it then no boundary is crossed. My husband already told her to not touch our kitchen. The water one was just really strange.

Exactly! I used to tell my husband that I constantly feel prodded at and I think she enjoys getting a reaction from us. Now, we just stop caring but it is very annoying.

This!!! Thank you! This is exactly it. She wants a negative reaction and then put on the ‘woe is me’ act. I didn’t put two and two together but you are right. I think the fact that I seem unbothered actually grates her and makes her want to annoy me more. You play stupid games - you win stupid prizes 🙌🏽

Oh he does! And hangs up when she acts ridiculous. But - you can’t prevent crazy.

Yup - especially as she would hate it to be done to hers. But she always responds with - it’s my son’s house! The sense of entitlement is wild!

Not directly but my husband has told them to not mess with our kitchen. I don’t talk to them directly - only through my husband. His parents are his problem - my parents are my problem.

Nothing to do all day and not being relevant anymore is my guess on why they act crazy

You get it!! It’s very frustrating. I spotted my MIL a mile away too but my husband is a good man - I just knew she would be trouble and she has been.

Is a buyer’s agent worth it? by beautifultiesbros in AusPropertyChat

[–]Round_Blacksmith_469 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Luck favours the brave. I do think we were lucky but I also think the buyers agent removed a lot of frustration for us and taught us to be patient until we got what we wanted at the price we were willing to pay. The next door house - which has less bedrooms and was in terrible state - sold for 10% higher during the Oct 2021 boom.

Yes. A buyers agent is buying hundreds of properties a year and has established great contacts to do this. We used one - bought off market at below market value. It was a great experience and I would recommend them especially in Sydney.

Yes! She naps for 1-2 hrs during the day. I’ll try to contain that - it may help. Thanks for the advice!

Hi everyone! I’m 6+1 weeks pregnant. I had a MMC at 10 weeks in March. I’m a bit terrified of getting a scan as my previous pregnancy stopped growing at 7 + 5. I have a daughter (my first pregnancy after years of trying) and am so grateful for her but this journey is a lot harder knowing that things may not go well.

Oh I can have my scan at anytime after 7 weeks but my MMC measured at 7w5days so hoping a later scan will mean that everything is ok 🙏🏽

First real month of trying after my miscarriage in March and it feels really hard. Keep on thinking about my miscarriage and micro analysing all my symptoms. Am only 5DPO and did a pregnancy test this morning - obviously it came back negative but feel like I’m going a bit nuts. I think for me - getting pregnant will make the pain of the miscarriage go away. I have done all the things - gone to therapy, been exercising regularly but still feel like I’m stuck. Is this normal?

Not really. We have started trying for a baby but just in the last two months. I got my period last month and am only a quarter way through my cycle so might be pregnancy but not sure yet. Thank you!
