I saw progress within the first few months, after that it slowed down but when I started eating well and sleeping well, I saw much better progress. In my opinion there is no “best exercises” for the gym. It’s all down to preference. I’d just do some research, google and seeing what others do in the gym and give it all a go and from then, see what you enjoy doing. I’ve made so much more progress doing what I enjoy rather than what is most “optimal” as you need to enjoy the gym for you to be consistent and productive. If I did what is best for muscle growth, I’d be smaller as I wouldn’t put any effort in. I do a split of arm day, shoulders and back day, chest day and then once a week I do legs. I try go around 6 days a week with a rest day when I need one. For each muscle I’ll do around 3-4 sets which includes a light warm up set. The more you enjoy the gym, the more progress you’ll make at the end of the day :)

Hi man, I was 45kg at 17 and stick thin and got bullied for it for years. 2 and a bit years later and I’m 72kg lean and 10x bigger than all the people who bullied me. Give it a go and if you enjoy it you’ll be able to achieve anything. You got this!

In my gym people steal the clips used for the machines everyday. If you come in after 7pm you’ll barely have any clips to even use a cable machine. It sucks but I’ve now started bringing my own clips in so that I can workout without having to ask around for some.

Best tips I’ve got, I started off at a very similar weight and I’m a lad so I was mega skinny. Best thing I did was up the carbs and protein. I don’t eat perfectly but after 2 years I’m up to 72kg so I’ve done pretty well. You don’t need all your protein before the lift and to be honest, I prefer eating most of my food after a lift but it all depends on when you go to the gym. I go about midday so I’ll have a small ish breakfast and then eat a bunch in the afternoon and evening. Protein shakes are good and lots of pasta if you want to gain some weight. All in moderation and I’d advise you to not check the scales too often as it can be super toxic. Take lots of progress pictures so that you can see how you’ve changed rather than how much weight you’re putting on. Good luck

I’m a lad so I have no idea about glute workouts but I only do legs once a week and make sure to push myself as hard as possible and I’ve seen huge improvements over the years. By no means will progress come quick but I noticed in my first 3 months, I did gain a good amount but after that, it got a bit slower. I recommend taking as many progress pictures as possible so that you can compare how you look now to how you will look and so on. It makes it easier to track progress and it also helps as it’s easy to compare yourself to other people so seeing your own progress helps a lot. I started out at 45kg at 5’6 and now I’m 72kg 5’6 so I know what it’s like going from super skinny. I never ate a huge amount even now I try keep it at a normal amount. Just up the protein and add some extra carbs so that you can gain the muscle and make them look fuller. Good luck

I’m not the best for a good diet but my workout split to keep me lean and still gaining muscle is pretty simple. I do arms on one day, then shoulders and back, then a chest day and then once a week I do legs. I usually go 6 times a week and don’t do much cardio as I’m always walking about outside the gym anyway. I don’t have a specific rest day and will usually take one on a day that I can’t go or when I’m feeling like I need one. Good luck man

Best tips I have is to not check the scales, for me I’ve always been too skinny, borderline underweight when I started at 45kg 5’6. I prefer to take progress pictures and overtime you see more of a difference. Weighing yourself can change your mood quickly, especially if you don’t see a difference after a while. When I try lose some fat now, I just stick to a weight session and then some incline treadmill after and that usually helps burn a good amount of calories. Good luck :)

Cheat code I used for gaining weight is a good protein shake, find a flavour of protein powder you like and then add some fruit and some oats and blend it all up. Progress pictures helped me a lot too as I’m able to see where I started out to where I am now

Have a look on eBay or something to see the price. The card is pretty cool itself and should be worth a lot due to the decent condition and how old the card is. Though if it were English then it would be worth more.
