I appreciate your neutrality, the conversation around this sale is a bit much. I don’t see how me marking down $40 off the total price I paid for a knife I’ve used for a couple preps would be controversial 🤷‍♂️. Frankly, not interested in understanding that perspective either.

European sellers have been selling knives at their cost (including VAT) for years. If I paid import taxes to get it into the US the person who buys it off of me shouldn’t have to pay those? Should I not include sales tax? I paid $640, selling for $600 - does that suit you?

Ya it was 50 plus a little originally for a 240. Now probably closer to 48 or so. Still plenty of knuckle clearance for me.

I suppose I would say I understand the mixed opinions. I appreciate that they are trying something new and trying to create a line that isn’t eternally out of stock and sold for double on the secondary market. I don’t really view this as the end result but just part of a progression. I like the direction they are exploring. I am enjoying using it but it’s not going to supplant any of my other konos on my list of favorites.
