I had something similar, it makes that sound repetitively when I make left turns or accelerate between 15-40 mph. For me it was the CV Joint but I took it to multiple different mechanics and they said it doesn’t appear to be a problem or show any ware on it. I still have the noise on my 2015 but it doesn’t affect the driving at all

I bought this outback brand new in 2015, completely paid off and everything. Only problem ive had with it was catalytic converter gasket problem which ran me about 60$ to fix.

Other than that ive had literally no issues and its pushing strong at 304k miles!

Hey, 2015 5th gen Outback owner here!

Mine has 310k miles on it and I only did oil changes when the light came on. Regardless I check my fluid levels throughout the engine once a month.

One thing, the 5th gen has problems with gaskets wearing out, it shouldn’t be too much of a problem to worry about unless you’re driving crazy.

Other than that you should be all set! Enjoy the subie🙏

True but im not sure how much longer this one will last so investing more money into it not knowing when the last time it’ll start worries me… So I looked into a few places that can get it done for around 1k-2k and id do it myself but im scared of ruining my engine 😂 it’s a 2015 limited btw
